@FrenchVaniIIuxe because most of those hardcore Xbox fans also don’t pay for GPU (they use cheap conversion etc) so they aren’t going to spend $1k on a handheld

If Xbox hardware is such a money maker, why are they letting retail stores drop them? Not keeping supply in certain markets etc.

But when you look at what’s gone on in past 6 weeks or so?

Lay offs, console price rises, sub price rises, retailers dropping Xbox consoles.

Can you blame these rumours for circulating?

Let’s face it if MS were better at communication and not all mixed these rumours wouldn’t be there.

But they are and even people like Jez ‘MS’ Cordon had words like ‘for now’ ‘who knows next quarter’

It’s a shame that a lot of turmoil all comes back to CoD.

If the rumours were that GPU was going to increase to $30 a month - would you have believed them? Probably not as most wouldn’t. But guess what it happened.

Most of the games are old

• they are super cheap to buy
• they have pretty much all been on GP
• they are on PS so if you sub to both they become worthless.

So I’d remove both.

Charge $25 for ultimate and include all first party DLC

So ads will be coming to gamepass then.

But MS first party games should have DLC included in ultimate.

Problem too is that PsPlus has Ubisoft classics too so if you sub to both it becomes useless on Xbox.

And don’t forget £20+ ‘early access’ £20+ dlc.

Ultimate would make more sense if they included all future dlc on MS first party releases.

Be warned that MS can cancel these at any time with very short notice. (And have done in the past iirc)

It shows how out of touch MS can be with the average gamer.

We don’t want more crap and a more expensive subscription. Everything in the world is expensive and going up, so why would people want to spend more on a subscription? It’s one of the easiest things to cancel or downgrade if you are struggling financially. It’s not a necessity.

I’ve got till December on ultimate then I’ll be downgrading to whatever the £11 tier is. (Depending on what games are on there).

People are cancelling and downgrading - the page to do so yesterday was down and people were having trouble getting through.

Should point out here 28 of those listed are PC only.

So that tempers the value on console.

If it’s going to $30 I think that first party games should then include any DLC

@BAMozzy but the data is showing that even across more games gamers are spending less hours playing on an Xbox than gamers playing on other platforms. - and however you try to defend it and talk nonsense.

The information (if true and correct) can also show to developers that people are less likely to spend time in their game and potentially micro transactions if it’s included on any sub service.

I love my series S worked perfectly fine. No regrets at all in buying one. I paid £180 for it new.

But sorry it’s value has tailed off in 25, the price rises to £300 (albeit with bigger storage) have made it a tougher sell.

They know the numbers of what sells and where.

Very funny that everyone was saying MS are right to stop doing films and tv shows.

But when a game chooses to skip the console it’s ‘f them’ and so on.
