If you're a big user of Microsoft Rewards like we are, you're probably well aware of the various sweepstakes that Microsoft hosts on there - competitions where you can submit your Rewards points for a chance at winning the prize.
These usually aren't worth it for the most part in our opinion, but we'll make an exception for this latest sweepstakes, as Microsoft is literally giving away one MILLION dollars in cash to the lucky winner (or £762k / €902k).
This is all documented on Microsoft's "The Ultimate Giveaway" website, where you can also earn one free entry by completing an "entry form". There will be additional ways to enter as the competition rolls on, and we've already spotted the ability to redeem five sweepstakes entries at a price of 2000 Microsoft Rewards points.
If you're wondering what the catches are, there's only one notable thing to point out - the competition is just open to legal residents of the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France and Germany. It's set to continue until the end of the year (specifically December 31st), and the two runners-up will actually get $10,000 each as well!
As mentioned, there will be more ways to enter as time rolls on, so it's worth keeping an eye on both the "redeem" section of Xbox Rewards as well as the all-encompassing Microsoft Rewards dashboard on browser to stay up to date.
So, by the time 2025 rolls around, one lucky Xbox fan could become a literal millionaire thanks to this!
