It was... underwhelming. Over half of what was announced, including the shadow drop, aren't Game Pass games, and most of what was is so far into the future, it doesn't have any excitement to it.
It was just a bunch of trailers and the occasional narration, no real draw to it.
B - some good stuff, some I want to see more of and obviously some not for me.
I didn’t really like the recap slides and the go visit wire slides
Really good!
Yakuza, Wuchang, Subnautica 2... a lot of games and good Game Pass value
Could have done with more "gamepass" but was pretty good
B- Pretty average for a 3rd party presentation. Firebreak, cronos, and blindfire were probably the ones I liked most.
Alan Wake 2 DLC, Bloober Dead Space-like, Mouse: P.I., Wuchang Fallen Feathers, and Remedyverse FPS co-op at FBC was definitely a B for me.
Very rare you get so many quality looking games in a partner preview.
@Medic_alert Remedy said a while ago that a multi-player game based in the Control setting was in the works.
On topic: I really enjoyed this presentation. Lots of great games coming down the line. I'll definitely Wishlist some games on Steam.
For a show that was announced two days ago, it was pretty solid.
Solid B. Great games overall. Glad to see Animal Well coming to Xbox, and Wuchang is looking very good. Remedy's Firebreak could be a hit with my coop partners.
In Remedy I trust, but, man, I dunno about FBC. They just had to use some generic sounding pop rock and highlight it in a way that is sort of off-putting to me personally, and I say that as a fan of everything remotely Remedyverse that’s out there. That said, Alan Wake 2 DLC will be probably completed by me day of release if it’s similar to the last one! Love Alan Wake 2. GotY last year. Outside that… well, the Bloober game looked interesting, but their quality is sort of all over the place, so I’m not at a point where I’d preorder anything they do yet. Legend of Baboo looked like it could be good or… not. But I’ll wishlist it while I wait to find out.
Animal Well is a solid indie title though. If you’ve not played it yet on another platform, at least it’s on Xbox now since it’s on everything else.
But, uh, Alan Wake 2 DLC was the highlight for me, and there wasn’t anything else that made me say, “Cool, can’t wait for that!” Given that, I’d say this was a C at best since it was otherwise pretty anodyne and harmless for me. At least there wasn’t anything bad, just a lot that does nothing for me.
Animal Well is great. But that's not gonna bring up the grade. That was a big pile of...meh.
B for me
I wish they had a one more thing....but I get it.
A diverse showing with a number of games I'm looking forward to play, oh and I can finally see what the fuss is about with Animal Well 😉. A solid B from me.
I really liked it. That's a good no nonsence way to present such a showcase and I thought it was a fun and diverse set of titles.
Nothing mind blowing but plenty I want to play. If we were grading it would get a B from me..
Liked the presentation style, the get on with it and no chit chat etc.
Didn’t expect much, but it was ok for me.
I shall be playing.
COD campaign and zombies
Stalker 2
Indy
So that’s my new games for the rest of the year.
@OldGamer999 I thought you sold your X and was giving them no more money, just what within the last week!
Make your mind up!
I thought it was pretty good, gave it a B.
Wuchang, Baboo, Eternal Strands and Cronos all are things I’ll play or try.
It’s concerning to see the “need more gamepass” comments. Fuels that narrative of xbox players not buying games. Unless I missed something where they promised the games shown would be on gamepass?
@PsBoxSwitchOwner
I know I gave in as I still GPU until March 2025.
So I thought might as well play
COD, Stalker 2, Indy and Avowed.
There is not much else out from the other 2 either now.
Good mix of variety, fair early access and others, however far along. Nothing I care for here really Indie or otherwise. But that always happens.
Mouse P.I sounds cool but execution hmm.
Too many about their worlds or eh characters, eh premises, too into the future sure it happens so not enough to say about them but even still, or trends.
The mechanics/movesets/level design just aren't exciting me here.
F but to be generous a C or D. But nah forget that F.
1.Did remedy learn from the last MP game they offered the campaign for and it flopped? Did they learn from Bleeding Edge by Ninja Theory? They may have a fair spin to offer for sure it's just hmm how will this go.
2.Subnautica 2 is cool to have early access for.
3.unique shooter I don't see it at all. Other things I'd seek instead in a shooter to be unique as playing PS3/360/Wii ones with unique ideas still today. Give me some The Club remaster then Sega. Or whoever published Fracture or others.
Give me hive mind enemies to learn, remove, copy players (yes Dark Link copies I know). Make a game around that AI then.
4.The rest seem fair, haven't followed, heard of or cared to hear about the others really. They seem fine.
Nothing of interest though.
Pretty decent some hits and some miss B for me but love the game pass best thing since slice bread 🍞 lol
