Last week, Microsoft launched a trio of Xbox Series X and S models. While we've already seen some teardowns going into more technical changes, there's one other small difference with the 1TB All-Digital Xbox Series X (Robot White) model doing the rounds.

As highlighted by the Xbox subreddit, apparently multiple videos of this particular model show how it doesn't feature the "green grill" ventilation like the existing XSX model. It's not clear why exactly it's been removed but one theory is "green on white would have looked weird".

Again, it's not really a big deal, but it's definitely become a bit of a talking point - with some claims it could also be to "save as much money" as possible on the production and sale of the system.

The Robot White Xbox Series X is notably cheaper in price than the other "Galaxy Black" 2TB XSX update. It also obviously doesn't have a disc drive and is instead an "all-digital" version of Microsoft's most powerful console.

Here's what we previously noted about it based on a teardown by tech YouTuber Austin Evans:

"While all the Series X models share huge similarities, the processor, motherboard and heatsink have changed in the new models - something which Xbox hadn't disclosed before release."

So, there you go - if you end up getting this new Robot White XSX, maybe don't expect green grills. How do you feel about this subtle change? Would it be a deciding factor in whether you do or don't purchase this particular model? Let us know in the comments.
