@RiverGenie I played both betas and I agree. New World is much more fun to play and seems like the perfect MMO for console players.

This expansion looks really good. I am very excited that the whole DLC takes place in a single system. Seems more handcrafted and I also like the spooky vibes.

Guessing this increase is due to the ABK acquisition. With games like Overwatch and WOW that have worldwide appeal.

Seems like February is going to be way too busy. Avowed, Monster Hunter, Kingdom Come, and now AC just to name a few. Ironically, Avowed moved to February to be in a less crowded space....

@Darude84 Yes. There are 2 or 3 major sidequests with villians like Mr. freeze, Clayface, and Harley. Those probably also take around 2 hours each but are completely optional.

I would also recommend reading the Court of Owls Batman comics. It is phenomenal and it is where the game got its inspiration.

Miasma Chronicles looks interesting. It is a neat stealth-tactics game

Sounds like the casual mode doesn't change the difficulty of combat, but just makes the game less tedious and more accessible to a casual gamer. This makes me a bit more interested actually.

@Darude84 I have seen the game go on sale for pretty cheap recently. It also not that long. 4 or 5 play sessions of main quest and you should be able to finish it.

I know Starfield and Diablo 4 didn't release this year, but I have had a ton of fun with both, and they account for most of my hours (not counting Sea of Thieves which is always in my rotation)

One of the few MMOs that have 3rd person action combat. That plus a beautiful world with both PVP and PVE options, makes me excited to try this.

Sounds like I will be getting PC game pass subscription and upgrading it to ultimate since that ratio is still good.

Literally $800 plus if you want it to play discs and have it stand upright. That isn't even considering another $50+ in taxes!

The Surge 2 is still their best work. This is still a good game by an awesome studio.

I don't get into RTS very much, but this one looks like a good time! Glad I can try it our via Game Pass.

I think since this is a new IP, this won't be on PS at all or at least for a very long time. Either way, this is my most anticipated release since The Outer worlds was one of my favorite games last gen.

I am hyped for Journey to the Savage planet sequel. An underrated gem, and really excited for split screen!

No way is this a Creation Club download. I am hyped for this. I am just finishing up the main campaign and ready to build outposts and explore. Perfect timing, honestly.

Bruh, everyone needs to chill. This game was in development before Xbox acquired Bethesda. It is not crazy to think a major IP like this would be multi-platform from the beginning of development. Also, who cares? I get it gamepass day 1. Let the ponies pay $60/70

Game Pass Core - Online multiplayer. Couple dozen games.
Game Pass Standard - Online multiplayer. No day ones
Game Pass Ultimate - Everything

The future of Xbox is GamePass. Go ahead and move to Playstation if you want to spend $70 for every game. I will stay on Xbox and enjoy day 1 games while PS players fund future day 1 games for the service.

As someone who plays on console servers, I have appreciated having a wide range of players. I really enjoyed season 12, and I am looking forward to this new world event to crap on more PS players

Sometimes 6 or 7 out of 10 games end up being some of my favorite. I will try with GamePass! Otherwise this is would have been a wait for a sale.

The mods are awesome. So excited to see the big mods that will take over entire planets.

Strange Brigade is an excellent Co-op game. Especially if you like movies like The Mummy or even Indiana Jones.

@themightyant I mainly buy digital because of all the free gift cards I get from Microsoft points! I do like to buy physical for games I absolutely love and that can be played offline.

Forza 4 is still my favorite of the series. It is unfortunate that it is getting delisted, but I realize such is the way with all the licenses involved with cars in the game.

My favorite is the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC with AC Valhalla. Control had some great DLC. Borderlands has some good stuff as well.

Didn't really get into ESO and would like to get into a new MMO. I don't play on PC so not a ton of options

It is free and you don't need Xbox Gold/gamepass core to play which means this is an easy thing to pick up and play with casual friends without spending a dime.

Tiny Tina was a lot of fun

Best live service game, imo. Can be grindy but core gameplay is awesome, and it has Pirates of the Caribbean and Monkey Island DLC at no extra charge.

I bought Remnant on launch. It has been a great game. I wish I had more time to play it but 2023 was LOADED with awesome games.

I actually just jumped into Destiny 2 with a great deal on all the DLC. I need a tutorial for all the menus, shops, quests, and currency. Holy smokes it needs to be more streamlined

@Ricky-Spanish He doesn't take cover but he still stands behind pillars and walls as if he was taking cover. Still impressive. The Raam fight took him over 100 tries.

I am just glad I get to play CoD campaigns and a bit of zombies without paying $70/year

More enemy types. Improved RPG systems. Update combat a bit to have more depth.
