Developer Techland has just surprised us all with a brand-new Dying Light game! Dying Light: The Beast is aiming to deliver "a thrilling standalone zombie adventure set in a tightly-crafted rural region" to Xbox players soon.

We don't have a date or anything for this one yet, but it's said to be 20+ hours long, with Techland building on its Dying Light 2 tech to create a tighter experience for zombie slayers new and old. Here's what the team has to say so far:

"Dying Light: The Beast is a thrilling standalone zombie adventure set in a tightly-crafted rural region. Play as Kyle Crane, a legendary hero who breaks free after years of brutal experiments. Now, he must realize there’s more at stake than just revenge."

More Dying Light for Xbox? We'll take that, folks!
