Original story: After what feels like a real-world age, Dragon Age: The Veilguard finally has a secure release date for Xbox Series X and S. Now, EA was supposed to drop this info later today, but the team's new trailer has leaked early - and it confirms an October 31st launch date for The Veilguard.
Yep, spooky season just got a whole lot more interesting with a brand-new Dragon Age game literally arriving on Halloween this year, and we're very excited to see how BioWare's latest effort shapes up when the time comes. Here's a refresher on what to expect:
"Enter Thedas, a vibrant world of rugged wilderness, treacherous labyrinths, and glittering cities. The world is teetering on a knife’s edge while corrupt gods unleash havoc across the continent. Nations war, and factions splinter. Who will you trust? From the Arlathan Forest to the back alleys of Minrathous, this is a broken world. Your actions will affect the fate of Thedas forever."
During Summer Game Fest back in June, we caught an exclusive hands-off demo for Dragon Age: The Veilguard and were mighty impressed by what we saw. The proof will ultimately be in the hands-on pudding later this year of course, but it was all looking and sounding pretty good back in the summer!
Anyway, if you'd like a read of that preview we'll drop it down below, and in the meantime, get ready for a dragon-infested Halloween on Xbox this October.
