Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 4-5)

As much as Iā€™m enjoying Forza Motorsport, I think Iā€™m gonna shelve it for the time being until they fix the ā€œapplying upgradesā€ bug (infinite loading screen). Itā€™s happened to me 3 times now and you lose your progress from the previous race every time šŸ˜” Iā€™m gonna give the 5 hour trial of WRC a go for my racing fix instead. Also trying to wrap things up in Cyberpunk & Phantom liberty. Iā€™m quite enjoying Jusant as well, which is giving me some Ico vibes (great game that deserves a remake).

I played some races today and still had some issues. When racing on Lime Rock park I had some flickering on the track just in front me (using bumper cam) for the whole race. They also still havenā€™t fixed the RT button not working during replays (itā€™s supposed to fast forward, but does nothing). Iā€™m sure these issues and more will be addressed at some point though.

Playing quite a lot of Forza Motorsport right now. Iā€™ve been mixing it up between career races and online. Glad to say I still have a S safety rating šŸ™‚ I always find it quite funny when another (online) racer barges past me, but you can see in the top left corner what penalties theyā€™ve accumulated, and always gives me a wry smile when even though theyā€™re in front of me on track, they finish behind me because of penalties šŸ˜‚
Also playing Cyberpunk 2077 / Phantom liberty. Really enjoying it, just a shame that even after 2.01 update the Series X still struggles in some areas of Dogtown. Saying that, the lighting in this game is phenomenal, especially in building interiors.

Re: Redfall's Huge New Update Is Getting Impressive Feedback So Far

You ask will it lead to greater player numbers? The problem is theyā€™ve released this during a very busy game period (BG3, Starfield, Cyberpunk 2.0/Phantom Liberty, AC Mirage) with still more to come (Spiderman 2, Super Mario Wonder, Lords of the fallen). I still havenā€™t played Redfall yet but definitely want to, I just donā€™t know when that will be.

Really enjoying Forza Motorsport so far. Even did a few MP races yesterday, and I hardly ever play online. The only thing Iā€™d wish they change is to add qualifying laps in career mode, instead of picking your own grid position (ā€œRisk v rewardā€ as they call it) .Still playing Cyberpunk 2077 / Phantom liberty. I had started a new play through for the 2.0 update, but decided I didnā€™t have the time so reloaded my previous V, though it meant spending an hour or so redistributing all my attribute & perk points. Loving Dogtown so far.

Re: Bethesda 'Ready' To Support Starfield For At Least Five Years

Nightcrawler71

@TJ81 I feel the same way. Am about 35 hours into Starfield but am more or less ready to shelve it, at least for now. Like yourself, Iā€™ve just started a new play through of Cyberpunk and then onto Phantom Liberty. Itā€™s also jarring going from the big open world of Night City with no load screens to Starfield which is filled with them.

Started a new play through last night of Cyberpunk 2077 now the 2.0 patch has dropped. Only had time to do the prologue so too early to see any of the major changes so far, though gun play felt punchier to me. Still having lots of fun with The Crew Motorfest. As far as Starfield goes, well my interest is starting to waver. Iā€™ve played around 30-35 hours, but it could go either way right now. Iā€™ll plod on, and just hope the game does enough to keep me playing.

Iā€™ve been playing since last Monday (early access) and am loving it so far. Itā€™s great fun and the island/graphics are gorgeous, even in performance mode. My only gripe (nitpicking really) is that fast travel is locked until youā€™ve completed 10 playlists, which is quite a few races. Ubisoft have a good track record of post launch support on most of their games, so I expect to be playing this for quite a while.

Starfield (XSX) I got the Razorleaf Ship during the week, and even managed to add some new bits to it like extra cargo space and extra fuel tanks. Iā€™m quite enjoying the game but I wouldnā€™t (yet) say Iā€™m loving it.

The Crew Motorfest (PS5) Been playing this since Monday and having an absolute blast. Lots to do and gorgeous graphics. Already better than the first 2 games, despite a smaller map.

Pikmin 4 (NS) Probably my most played Switch game of the year, yes, even more than TOTK. Love the way the game drip feeds you everything, and you can just play the game at your own pace.
