Gigantic is still a thing? Didn't that get shut down?
Decent list for both tiers of GP, but next week is gunna be mega.
Starbound looks interesting. And if you haven’t played Case of the Golden Idol yet, I can only re-re-re recommend it, a belter.
Lonely Mountain Snow Riders is also out and it’s fantastic!
What sort of game is Starbound? Looks like a mix of different genres. Also looks like the kind of game that will consume all my free time if I let it 😂
I'm not big into indie stuff so I'll be passing on most of it. Kunitsu is sort of intriguing but not enough for me to actually play it
@awp69 Yeah, I'll be playing that later 👍
At first glance, the games above don't really appeal to me, but I'll certainly give them a go when I get chance.
Also, and I've said this before... I pray one day that one of these Indie devs releases a side scrolling shooter, I love the SHMUP genre.
Kunitsu-Gami is a fantastic, unique game. I can’t recommend it enough.
Why can’t we get rise of the golden idol? It’s on Netflix 🙄
@Nightcrawler71 I tried Starbound last night and still can’t tell you exactly what it is yet … very pixel art style with very basic controls … a 2d platformer with farming … a love child of a 90’s JRPG and Atari 2600 game … I will give it one more shot before retiring it to the backlog
Kuniitsu is ok rest are utter garbage
@Kaloudz Correct! It was cancelled and the studio (Motiga) was shuttered, but early last year a different developer picked up the pieces, removed the F2P elements, added a quicker match mode, and released it. I bought it day 1, but for the first week there was hardly anyone playing and it had horrible matchmaking issues. Now that it's on Gamepass, I'll reinstall and hope to see some people giving it a try.
@MaxC Thanks buddy!! Thought it rang a bell somewhere in the archives 😅 Fingers crossed for fans like yourself, it manages to survive a spell longer.
