@hypnotoad I think both remakes will be fantastic, especially RE4 mainly because the originals were such great games.

Most new games disappoint. So no surprises here. Embargo being lifted on release date was a huge red flag. Overall games and movies have declined in quality over the last few years. We rarely get anything good now.

@awp69 Rogue Legacy 2 is not on Game Pass

You get what you pay for, there's no surprises. A game that developers have spent years and made with millions of dollars isn't going to go on Game Pass day 1 (unless first party). That's why Callisto Protocol is not on gamepass day 1 either is Hogwarts Legacy or Resident Evil 4 Remake. The developers of those games know that they are going to sell in the millions because they will be great games.

Just finished chapter 1 of Plague Tale Requiem. Game is promising so this might be my GOTY by the time I finish apart from that As Dusk Falls was good, TMNT Shredders Revenge, Midnight Fight Express and Prodeus get honorable mention. Terrible year for gaming overall. God of War Ragnarok saved it tbf.

Gaming has been reduced to remakes and live service games. The 360/Wii/PS3 generation will forever be the greatest.

No surprises here. Limbo and Inside were definitely not for me.

These adaptions always End up being bad.
The Witcher on Netflix sucks
Resident Evil on Netflix was shockingly bad
Halo on paramount was a complete disaster
Not a single adaption that's actually been good.

Recently finished Prodeus. Now playing The Legend of Tianding.

They will show demo in E3 2024 then say it will release in Spring 2025 and then delay it by blaming covid, finally releasing it at the end of 2026.

Back in 2018 i bought Black Ops 4. Back then I would game on weekends, every weekend like Friday evening or Saturday morning, when I'd turn the PS4 on, there would be an update, those updates were usually huge too and would take forever to download. It was that game that basically made me quit online gaming. It was absolutely ridiculous, constantly updating. In the end I spent more time updating then actually playing the game

This is the reason why Xbox will never surpass Playstation in market share. Sony 1st Party games are nothing short of master pieces.

@Dezzy70 do you spend your entire day checking Playstation and Xbox stock?

No because the Reboot games (the first two) are very good. Rather Studios invested in new IP then remakes.

I'm struggling to finish Prodeus which I've played for about 3 hours and suppose to be only 6 hours long. I find that most games get repetitive and boring after the first 2-3 hours unless they have extremely fun Gameplay. I can't imagine playing a turn based game for a 100+ hours. I tried playing Yakuza Like A Dragon and after about 18 hours I gave up because it got boring.

Looks promising

Some Gameplay would be nice, difficult to judge anything of a X years old screenshot. For all we know it's completely changed.

Based on ign and gamespot reviews the game sounds terrible.

Why do people think Sony or Microsoft care about gamers? Are they your relatives that they are going to care? They are a business. They care about making money, profit. That's it. That's where it starts and ends.

"They are not xbox games" looool what???? Then why are they playable on Xbox???? It's a game that has been developed using Xbox dev kit, it's using code that only Xbox can interpret, if you put that disc in Playstation it won't work. So it is an xbox game.

Some previews are out and they say exactly how I thought this game would be. "Boring puzzle game with no talking and hardly any combat".

Game Pass on absolute fire right now. A lot of people complain about lack of AAA but what they offered is so good. Very happy with them right now

Callisto Protocol killed the hype for Dead Space Remake. Most people will get that

Took about 13hrs to beat the first one. So 15hrs is pretty decent time.

I recently finished Inside and The Walking Dead A New Frontier. I'm currently playing You Suck At Parking which might just be the most frustrating game ever.

Still got Tinykin and Prodeus to play afterwards. Game pass has been awesome with the smaller titles lately
