To be fair, they did call it developer_direct and they did also say we will show 4 games. So expecting anything else is your own fault.
I'm not even going to bother watching it live because it's most likely going to be boring, I prefer to see the Gameplay only and not the developer interviews. Honestly if you were expecting Xbox to show you Fable, Avowed and whatever else then that is your own fault.
How many people are actually playing halo Infinite MultiPlayer now? My guess would be not many. 343 has had Halo for something like 10 years now and don't really have much to show for it. What makes people or even Microsoft think that they can do something big with it in the future? They've failed the franchise and the last 10 years is proof. I think Halo has had its golden days. Its time to move on. Build something new that is suited for current generation of consoles, even if it gets delivered at the end of the generation it'll be worth it. I don't think majority of the young gamers particularly care about Halo anymore.
I'm playing Final Fantasy VII Remake. I must admit when I first started this game I did not like it at all, it does have a big learning curve. However the more I played the more I liked it.
Also playing Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. This is also another decent game.
I'm also thinking of starting The Legend of Tianding on Game pass.
Trillion dollar company, paying millions of dollars to senior leadership and making billions every year but yeah let's go and kick out some people who are just trying to pay the mortgage and get to the next pay date. Gotta love the way it all works.
As long as they add some of the other good games on game pass (like Atomic Heart, Replaced, Last Case of Benedict Fox) and get Redfall out before June.
Then its really not that deep. I have a Playstation like many others here, so there's way too many games for me to play and not enough time.
Redfall is the only one. I don't like Minecraft, I don't play online games like Elders Scroll and I prefer Horizon over the track racing simulation. I find track simulation very boring. So I hope redfall is good, certainly looks good from what they have shown so far.
Finished Ghost of Tsushima last night. That's one of the best games I've ever played.
Today I will be starting Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception. I still haven't finished my Bioshock playthrough, I'm about halfway through the game. I don't really like, but will still finish it.
Finally I started Final Fantasy 7 Remake a few days ago. Its the first Final Fantasy game I've played. I'm so disappointed by this game. The combat is very unsatisfactory, its just a button mash. The boss fights also so long and boring. I was one of those people who was hoping for this game to come out on xbox last year. However after playing this on the Playstation, xbox player's are definitely not missing out on anything. The game looks really nice but that's about it. The Gameplay is very boring. I think people gave it high ratings just because of the nostalgia train.
@UltimateOtaku91 I doubt main quest Is 100 hours. Although you make a good suggestion about taking breaks in between for shorter games. I will try this approach 👍
None of them. I don't like Bloated Games. Most of them take like 50 plus hours to beat. I don't have that kind of time to dedicate to one game. My gaming time Is very limited so I'd much rather play many different shorter games.
Also game pass for me is lacking very much at the moment. I've pretty much played the majority of games I wanted to play which since 2020 (when I joined game pass) has been over 105 or so games. I'm looking forward to the upcoming games like Atomic Heart, Last Case of Benedict Fox, Starfield etc.
I'm playing Ghost of Tsushima, Until Dawn and Bioshock on Playstation. Bioshock is the most overrated game I've ever played. The third game was one of the best but the first one has so many issues.
Over on GamePass I've been playing Vampire Survivors, it's an okay game. I usually just play this on the mobile.
@Widey85 they'll do 1 announcement this month and it'll have Persona games plus monster hunter rise and inkulinati. Maybe some others. Its most likely only 1 batch of games this month, this might a change in model where they only anounce games once a month. Who knows.
Been playing this on game pass lately. Perfect game to play in some down time on the phone. It's a decent game but it has been insanely overhyped. 7/10 at best.
They still havent announced the January games. I think they'll announce it next week and it'll be the persona games plus a few others that were announced last year. Wonder if they are moving to a once a month model.
Soulsbourne genre is something I dislike so much. I just don't find these games enjoyable. You have to dedicate so much time to these games in order to beat them.
@IOI if this ends up being true then it won't be a 2024/25 release its more likely a 2026/27 release considering it takes 4-5 years to make those kind of games.
@IOI I jumped ship to Playstation due to the lack of First Party games from Xbox. Although I still have game pass which I access through xcloud. For me personally xbox had a poor 2022. There were so many Trash games that got added to gamepass, but I did also have some good games too. Overall the lack of communication, the lack of AAA first party games and poor quality game pass games drove me away. I really hope Xbox has a fantastic year this time around.
1. Hogwarts Legacy 2. Spiderman 2 3. Final Fantasy 16 4. Stellar Blade 5. Starfield 6. Resident Evil 4 7. Last Case of Benedict Fox 8. Replaced 9. Atomic Heart 10. Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League
I've made the most of my holidays by finishing Infamous First Light, Heavy Rain and Spider-Man Miles Morales on the Playstation.
Currently very close to finishing little big planet 3 on Playstation. After that I'll be playing Bioshock Remastered and Ghost of Tsushima on Playstation. While on the cloud I'll be playing Vampire Survivors, I want to see if its as good as everyone says it is.
I got so fed up with xbox that i sold my console. I now use a Playstation as my main console and play the odd good game on xCloud. I think this a good set up especially if you don't have the room for 2 consoles. I doubt xbox is going to release all 3 of those games before June. Its more likely going to be spread out in the next 12 months. Still it's nice to have game pass using rewards points, you still get some great 3rd Party games on there. Meanwhile Playstation Exclusives are at another level I'm currently playing some of the older games and even they are at a different level.

Didn't like the game at all. Thought it was repetitive, the TV show part was so unnecessary but it did have some great ideas.
