As we approach the end of 2022, we're looking back at a year in which the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S finally began to look past their stock issues that dominated 2020 and 2021, with the generation properly in full swing.
The question is, how successful has that generation been so far? We kicked things off in a good way back in 2020, with both consoles launching to a positive reception despite releasing alongside a slightly underwhelming launch lineup, and 2021 saw the launches of Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite (amongst others) from Xbox Game Studios, while Xbox Game Pass flooded us with new releases and major additions.
