@cburg only played the first level. It's decent. Your basically a unstoppable tank who's gunning down perps to Basil Pouradouris soundtracks. I enjoyed it. But I loved Robocop when it first came out in the 80s.
2008 xbox 360. I was 28 and was kinda out of gaming at that time. Was working for Wetherspoons as a manager. Went over to my friends who had a 360 and watched him playing Assassins Creed, was blown away. Went out and bought a 360 with my first GM wage. Never looked back. Love xbox.
Will check this out, prob. Although I couldn't beat the final puppet in the game for the true ending. Had to resort to the less good ending to see the credits and Easter egg at the end.
A review is that person opinion, that's all. You can disagree and that's ok. I barely play new games but what I've enjoyed most this year has been Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Steel Rising and Resident Evil 4:Remake
@MaccaMUFC completely agree. I was playing on normal, restarted and rinsed the mutant first time again. You can find a better gun if you look around before the bunker
I'm at first big town and for me it's, a total meh atm. Some enemies are bullet sponges, controls seem stuck in 00s PC land, voices are wooden(isn't the main guy V from cyberpunk?). It's a def 5 or 6/10
I was a ps2 guy but my friend had an Xbox. Remember enjoying a few games on it such as wwe games, some shooter set in World of Darkness and couple others. Didn't get on Xbox till 2008 when I got promoted to a GM in my trade, picked up a 360 eith my first enhanced wages!
Don't american companies have some sort of consultation period? Like in UK, if it's closing down then redundancy will be offered either paid my parent company or gvt
Rewards was very generous to me for a number of years but I cashed out recently. Just lost all motivation for it following all the nerfs. It was good, really good for me. I earned a number of games and bought 3 controllers using solely reward points but I lost in interest.
Less now. During Covid it jumped right up, but now I struggle to get even a couple hours a week, work, being a parent having a new partner is all time consuming
Shadow of the Tomb Raider for me. I know it's been out for years but I didn't bother with it first time round. Beat Evil West during the week. Found it great fun
@Lup some of my fondest memories are playing Monkey Island 1 on the Amiga or games like WCW V World on PS1. Graphics arent all it is, I agree with you, it's a shame it's all about this except from indies
Also I just don't seem to have a lot of time these days to really tune into a game. Working full time, single parent and recently started a new relationship is very time consuming.
I did start Phoenix Point, played the tutorial missions then thought, nope this is not for me. Will prob try the Quarry out, then might dip into Guardians of the Galaxy
Personally I feel it is what it is. Yes rewards was great, I earned enough over time for 3 controllers, numerous games and my last splurge was an amazon voucher but good things come to an end. I'll keep earning but not as devoted to it as I once was.
@HonestHick honestly I played of at launch on an One X and I had zero issues. Then when it still wasn't hit with its improvement patches, I played it on Series x and again no major issues. OK the police thing was annoying but it wasn't game breaking for me at least.
I remember beating Grandia 2 on ps2, must have been about 20 years ago. Poss 22 years. Don't remember much else except I enjoyed it. Will prob pick this up. Rose tinted glasses?
Have a good fee. Even XIII(which isn't as bad now as when it first released, quite enjoyed it actually). Got Gears, Mafia 1+2, Borderlands. Couple of others that I can't remember atm.
Well I'm working my way through the remaster of XIII. It's not amazing but it's hitting the right nostalgia feels for 23 year old me (I'm 44 now). Enjoying it. I'll prob beat that over weekend. If I have time I'll go into either Yakuza Judgment or I might give Elden Ring a go.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Hoping To See In The Xbox Spring Sale?
Baldurs Gate 3 would be good, say around 20, and I would jump on Alan Wake 2 at around a tenner.
Re: Lots Of Games Are Starting Off March With 90% Discounts On Xbox
@cburg enjoy!

Picked up Robocop and Sinking City (series x version, beat the vanilla version) and the sherlock holmes/Cthulhu crossover.

Love xbox.

Just series x. Nothing else.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 4-5)
Resident Evil 4 remake. Late to the party with this but I'm really enjoying it. Think I'm close to end as I've defeated village and castle areas.

Re: Xbox Dev Obsidian Has Seemingly Started Work On A Brand-New Project
@BacklogBrad KOTOR 2 would have been better than first one(minus THAT TWIST), if they got time to do it. Also Alpha Protocol was severely over lookded
Re: Review: Star Wars: Bounty Hunter - After 22 Years, Jango Fett's Adventure Comes To Xbox
Enjoyed back on ps2 when it released but now more than 20 years later, I don't think I'll bother. It was fun but it's no KOTOR
Re: Talking Point: Xbox Fans, How Are You Getting On With Microsoft Rewards In 2024?
Used to love it, now I don't really bother anymore. Cashed in few weeks back and I'm done.

Picked DR1, really enjoyed that back in the day. Also liked DR2 and DR3. Never really tried 4 or the DR2 Frank West boogaloo

Shadow of the Tomb Raider for me. I know it's been out for years but I didn't bother with it first time round. Beat Evil West during the week. Found it great fun

Outer Worlds on Series X and Castlevania Lords of Shadow on x360 via backwards compat.

Re: Talking Point: Has Ray Tracing Been A 'Complete Waste Of Time' For Xbox Series X|S?
I may be in the minority here but I don't really know what ray tracing is nor do I care. Good games are good games regardless of graphics.

RE4 remake, Alan Wale 2, BG3 and if I can see an older game that captures my eye, like Asterigos

Yeah Sid James is a legend. My GT pic is Kenneth Williams. It changes between the both of them

@JoakimZ yes 100%. Loved them years ago. Don't think I ever beat fallout 2. When you got the car in that was a game breaker
