Is Fear any good? I've never played them.
Very nice I'll have a dig around later today I'll decide weather to drop some reward points on this sale or keep them up for elden ring night reign!
@Kaloudz I couldn't get into any of the games back on the 360 but other people really rate them highly different strokes and all that ha!
COME ON THE EXPANSE GAME... CHECKING...
@Kaloudz
Too horror for ppl like me
I churn GP (thanks MS) so currently unsubbed so will wait a few days...
Nobody Wants to Die might get it, but could be too gory for me
Not many new faces on that list.
The few games I was interested in are listed cheaper on some of the CD Key sites so prob a pass this sale for me…I always compare Microsoft’s sale prices using allkeyshop.com or gg.deals cause at least one of the different CD Key sites usually have the better price
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition (the Series X|S version): 75% off. Cheapest price ever.
Resident Evil Remake Trilogy, 2 Deluxe + 3 + 4 Gold: 45% off.
Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration, the best of the modern trilogy in my opinion, for a few pounds/euros/dollars.
Same prices as every other sale. Same as what Sony do.
@Kaloudz FEAR 3 wasn’t as good as the first two and one is the best but unavailable, however 3 is a lot of fun in its own right. It had a pretty cool survival mode, with each round getting harder. Good fun with friends!
@PsBoxSwitchOwner Same sale, different name, with the elevated "sale" prices. Perfect example is Jedi Survivor drops as low as $6.99. This sale it's $9.99. Gimmicks are getting really stale. The store needs a massive overhaul.
@Ricky-Spanish Yeah that's my issue lol. I usually know by the sound of a game if I'll enjoy it but this series, and Call of Juarez, are games I've always seen in sales, always been tempted by, but never committed lol.
@TheGiraffe I love me a good horror game
@GameOverScreen Oh that might explain why I've never seen the first game on sale then lol. Is there a reason it's no longer available? Seems silly to have two of three games available.
I guess I'm a fanboy : I have already all the games I want. Funny: it's the same games on sale, over and over and...
Why can't we have a sale time with more Xbox 360 games? I'm fed up with all the new games : same graphics, same "caring" story, bla bla. Yes 360 games are rough nowadays, but I can't find the same games anymore ...
Seems like the same darn games and prices as what I've seen multiple times this past year
First time I'm not picking up anything in a seasonal sale. I feel like it's the same names again and I've already bought the ones I want in previous sales.
@Kaloudz the first Fear still holds up well today with some of the best enemy AI in gaming. It's a cool mix of very satisfying action/gunplay with some mild horror elements. You can only get it on physical (prices are jacked up of course) or if you have a PC/laptop it's $10 and frequently less on sale.
High on Life only had a 35% off sale? Weak.
I know this generation is stagnant but, MAN. Can really feel it during these big sales. Cue that NIN song, Everyday Is Exactly The Same. New sale, same deals.
@JoyfulFire @Elbow The store says take a peek at the spring sale preview or something like that when I checked it earlier today, so I assume that more deals will arrive in a few days/one week when the sale is available to everybody.
That Banishers game looks cool, has anyone tried it?
Maybe I will bite the bullet with Guardians of the Galaxy and Gotham Knights, played those two when they were on GP and had a blast.
Warhammer Space Marine 2 : Gold Edition on sale for 50 odd quid??? Why can't they just discount the standard game, then if I like it, I could choose to buy the DLC.
Gonna take a chance and buy Robocop: Rogue City. I've read great things about it.
@16BitHero My laptop wouldn't run minesweep if it tried it's hardest and I have the Series S so I'm well out of luck 😂😭
@Shy_Hallaman Gotta be worth a tenner. Gonna pick that up myself
@Shy_Hallaman Well worth it for that price. Brilliant if you're a fan of the original film and a damn fun shooter regardless.
@Kaloudz ha, sounds like some electronic recycling is well overdue!
Started The Quarry just before it left Gamepass and didn't realise it had left. Was really enjoying it too. So that's getting bought. Beyond that I'm abstaining. Got a ton of great games to plough through already and a Play Later list on Gamepass as long as my arm. Good times at the moment (for gaming anyway. Everything else in my life is a cluster****.).
@Kaloudz I'm sure Fear will feel dated today.
But back the day it was fun, if like little bit of horror theme with your shooters.
Guess decent kind of comparison would Clive Barker's Jericho have if you played it. Really wish would make a sequel. Was very enjoyable.
Picked up the Age of Wonders 4 premium edition on sale yesterday after the free weekend. Loving it, playing turn based with email notifications with friends. It's a pretty brilliant melding of 4x with Heroes of Might and Magic.
@Banjo- I missed that part, that's reassuring. ... I'll withhold further whining just in case some sick deals are waiting to smack me in the face.
@16BitHero You're telling me lol! I usually use / hold on to things until they are literally ready for a headstone.
@GuyinPA75 I might have to pick it up next gen providing it plays BC and comes with an optional disc drive. I'm very shocked that they haven't remastered the collection given how much I see the two sequels on offer.
@HarmanSmith There's actually a trial for Banishers on the Xbox Store if you want to try before you buy
@TROTTERS78 I opted for the regular version that was on sale for £38 a month or so back, used £10 reward points so got it for £28 it does seem strange they've done the gold edition this time
@Kaloudz Talking about Fear or Jericho?
I totally got share my love for Jericho again. Really surprised no one else commented on Jericho. Doubt I'm only one on here to play it. Shame the game did not get more hype when came out. Really feel could been great trilogy.
"one week of exclusivity for Game Pass members"
is this always the case or sometimes the sales are really just for game pass members?
I plan not to sub to game pass in the near future and don't want to miss sales for that reason.
@Vidorra The "Deals with Game Pass" and the early access to special sales are exclusive.
There are also perks with Game Pass Ultimate, like the DLC for Persona 3 Reload that was a permanent giveaway for subscribers when the game was still new. That's a very special reward for Game Pass subscribers.
Here you can check the cheapest price of every Xbox game if you want to know if the current sales are good enough:
https://xbdeals.net/us-store
You can change the country.
@Vidorra yes there are exclusive deals for Gamepass members, they change weekly but are usually the same 30 games every 3rd week so the sales never really change. And never have I ever seen a deal for Gamepass members that non-members do not eventually get, usually within the same week. Really is nothing special anymore to have GamePass in any form.
@FraserG Oh, didn't know that! Thank you very much, chief! I will look into that 😄.
@GuyinPA75 Talking Fear. That said, I haven't played the other one either. I'll have to check in and see if that's BC. I like a good classic.
@Kaloudz Sadly, looks like Clive Barker's Jericho not backwards compatible from what I'm reading. Could swore replayed it on Xbox One. Guess I'm wrong.
If have an Xbox 360 and can find the disc for sale somewhere I recommend highly.
@Kaloudz fear is solid. Is you’re missing monolith productions I highly recommend it
Any one know if the Xbox consoles are about to go on sale by any chance?
I want to get a new one for my kid for Easter?
Thanks in advance .
It's like it took Microsoft releasing two new games for them to remember they could put the backwards Ninja Gaiden games on sale.
I'd much rather GP members got extra discounts in the same way that PS extra members always do on the 'other side'. Accessing the sale early seems like a pretty worthless perk to me, or am I being unfair?
There's some decent titles there, if anyone hasn't played Robocop and isn't on ps extra, £9.99 is a great price for a surprisingly good title with an amazing impressive game engine!
@GuyinPA75 I'm hoping next gen is heavily BC because I'll likely pick up a disc version (unless it's way cheaper not to) to play the odd game that isn't BC.
@BigRedPaper Wait, what? Monolith made that???
@Kaloudz monolith productions that was owned by wb not monolith soft that’s owned by Nintendo
@BigRedPaper Ohhhhhh I get ya! Thanks for the clarification!
@Kaloudz I think it’s something to do with licensing, you can still play it via disc and it was on the 360 store digitally a long time ago. WB Games man, only god knows what they are doing.
@GameOverScreen Gotcha. It's crazy isn't it lol. I always find licences amusing. I mean, take Witcher for instance. I remember the devs (CDPR) buying the rights to make the games based on the author's IP for as long as they like, and the author only asked for a few grand. Now look at its worth lol.
