I legit forgot Star Trek Legends existed, now I'm disappointed all over gain

An Xbox handheld has to be able to play console games (without streaming). If it's "just" a handheld PC then it'll be lost against the rival handheld PCs that are cheaper or more powerful.

Give me a handheld that gives me my full library and I am there, regardless of how well Xbox is doing

@jesse_dylan it did appear on the offical documents but that was dated from before they was bought by MS.

I wouldn't be suprised if it existed at one point but was cancelled.

Xbox sales have been plummeting every quarter ever since they wanted to by Activision and had to fight all the regulators and their only defense was "we need them to compete, we all ready lost".

Turns out taking a world tour to say your platform sucks isn't great for the platform a d the current "no exclusives" push isn't helping.

I'm sure there will be a next Xbox but I don't see that helping. We need to make sure Third party support stays solid, if that slips we know we're heading to Wii U, Dreamcast, and Vita town.

For me the advert is dumb because cloud streaming is tied to Gamepass Ultimate.

@sixrings They'd also get less from your purchase of their game on PS as Sony would take their licencing cut and if you buy it digitally they also get the retailers' cut too.

It occurs to me that Xbox probably isn't going to be having third party exclusives either, wonder if that's going to benefit Sony or Nintendo more.

Xbox is gonna have to do alot to convince me to buy the next Xbox. Might aswell use that money upgrading my PC. I would save money on GP as I wouldn't need ultimate for day ones and I'll have access to the games Sony ports on PC too.

@UndyingInsurgent95 I doubt they'll do romance, not sure they've had a game with one in since Kotor 2 (and even then I was very minor compared to biowarès Kotor 1)

@Feffster they suggested I played it via gameshare or on another account. Despite me looking at it in my order page.

Yesterday I contacted support about the Horrizon 4 offer. They asked for the order number of the expansion pass, I found it sent it and they said it didn't exist.

Spent an hour telling them I could see it on my orders, gave them the date it was ordered the billing address and last 4 digits of the card that used it, took screen shots of it but nope.

"Doesn't exist" and they refused to do anything.

I have to give WB props here, they might have jumped into that live service pool and sank but at least they aren't letting it drown (giving it an offline mode)
@shoeses I hope that Multiverses gets a similar treatment. I'd happily pay for a version without the LS stuff.

Considering how much a of a quiet night the game awards are going to be for Xbox, I would assume they'd have a bunch of announcements just to be part of the conversation.
I'd annouce the backwards compatibility program is back even if its secretly just the Activision titles they now own.

Getting Sony games on Xbox was always going to need either a Xbox in position of strength (which just isn't happening) or via some sort of very public trade offer.

"PS5 gets Sea of Thieves, Xbox gets Helldivers 2 and we both get more people buying the games and paying the MTXs".

But with Xbox seemingly happy to port everything onto PS there isn't any reason for Sony to engage with that.

It's a shame they couldn't sell this to CoD players who really hate BO6's omnimovement.

I have to assume the free to play shooter Market is "full" now thanks to all the forever games eating up all the customers.

Not really fond of what the Game Awards has morphed into so I wo t be watching.

It would be nice to get an big meaningful Xbox announcement that isn't "hey we're finally getting that big game" again.

@StylesT agreed. Even if the next gen system is real, is good and they boldly declare "exclusives are back" no one is going to believe them knowing Xbox is one poor year from porting everything to PS and probably Switch 2.

All I need from this entry is "more Sniper Elite 5 co-op" and that seems to be what it's delivering.

Related, was super bummed that neither the VR Sniper Elite games had co-op but at least the VR Zombie Army will.

If it actually launches on Xbox I'll be delighted but more suprised they managed it. Game made my PC weep.

@parappatherapper to be fair it seems many Unreal games seem to be suffering performance problems too so the alternative universe version of the game probably has new and exciting (read: different) performance issues lol.

@Donutsquad00 in terms of bugs, at launch.
I got really lucky and the whole thing played well bo noticible bugs or crashes whilst pretty much everyone else was hitting every bug and crash.

Now with Stalker 2 I'm hitting all the bugs and my friends are not seeing a thing.

When the game isn't freaking out at me, I love it but it is freaking out at me a lot.

I think this might be "balance" after Cyberpunk where I didn't get any noticeable bugs or t-pose in my first play through. Stalker 2 hits every bug it can lol.

I get not supporting it anymore but pulling it completely? That feels like more effort than just "keeping the lights on".

Lots of stuff I want, some stuff I would have bought, but I'm not comfortable buying Xbox digital anymore.

@Rangers420 @Ricky-Spanish I bought the upgrade for Gamepass before the game come out, I haven't got a key yet either. I know some who got their keys though.

Concern: addressing the lack of growth in Xbox sales by removing the reasons to buy an Xbox is a death spiral for the consoles, a spiral that threatens the digital libraries we built across three generations of consoles (remember the big deal they made off forward compatibility.)

(Yes, they keep saying they plan on more consoles but they change plan every 6 months.)

@TheEstablishment They'll need to prove that before I spend any more in the Xbox console ecosystem. An Xbox layer on Windows seems doable, we did see someone doing that with X1 not long ago.

I'm looking forward to this, I like what they are doing with the quest design but I do suspect a lot of people are going to roll into this expecting it to hold their hand and bouncing off it.

@Jenkinss Baring some major twist, I'm gonna be PC+Nintendo going forward. No point in investing in my Xbox console Libary anymore.

@pepsilover2008 That's pretty much my fear. We've already gotten a taste of Sony "not needing to compete" with the Pro pricing, and if Xbox as a console keeps fizzingly away it won't be long before they're back to trying to gouge devs and gamers again. We gamers NEED the competition.

@B_Lindz True, though I'd probably go for one of the open handhelds, seems like a lateral move to go from being limited to one library (Xbox) to another (SteamDeck Certified). So if I got the Ally or Go (much more expensive granted) I'd get access to part of my XB library, GP if I want it, my GoG titles, along with all the freebies I've gotten from Prime and Epic, and Steam.

Getting gamepass on other platforms is only possible from a position of strength. A
"You need our games, our games are only sold where gamepass is avaliable" sort of thing.

Right now it's the other way, Xbox (seemingly) needs their games on PS/Nintendo/Steam.

After what happened to Tango I'd say the studios of Asia are not interested in being bought. Deals and partnerships sure, but acquisitions never.

Being able to turn off the animation should appeal to those who was saying it was making them sick.

Won't be buying more games on Xbox, looks like I'll be PC+Switch2 next gen. Will already seen Sony reaction with Pro pricing, so might as well buy a decent PC instead.

I hope they patch the abilty to chose to have the "beard mask" or not. I get that it's supposed to stop clipping but is annoying my character can't show of Tavinter 'stache and wear a hat, or display my fine dwarf beard with a open face helm.

@PhileasFragg I think they can or do somethi that forces it, because I'm playing Shadows of Doubt and Quick Resume is very much not a thing.

I think witcher 3 had a similar bug on X1 where if you didn't close the game fully before going into standby you couldn't save

I like the game but the f2p nature bothers me so much I wont play it. Let me pay for the game with a fair roster and then I'll buy a character pass, and maybe even costume DLC.

Right now this game is getting £0.00 off me, give it a paid release and I'd pay £40-70 off me (depending on the included content).

Doesn't seem to have the final mission bug, though it seems the Zealots Overach bug in the notes seems to be "same problem" so maybe it is fixed (probably not)
