It's all happening in the world of Xbox, folks! Today, longtime Sniper Elite developer Rebellion has announced the official release date for Atomfall; its brand-new IP coming to Xbox Game Pass. You can go hands on with this new survival-action game on March 27th, 2025 - day one on Microsoft's XGP service.
To accompany this release date announcement, we've also been treated to a fresh look at the game via the team's new trailer up above. Atomfall is looking as quirky as ever, and we're really looking forward to getting stuck into this one on Xbox next March.
"A nuclear disaster has left an area of Britain in tatters. Atomfall, a new survival-action game, will see you explore, scavenge, craft, barter and fight your way through beautifully recreated scenery in search of answers."
Perhaps surprisingly, Rebellion is still supporting last-gen consoles with the release of Atomfall. Yep, this strange British Fallout-like experience will be playable on pretty much every platform out there - including Xbox One, Series X|S and PC via Game Pass.
Excited for this one, PXers? Tell us what you make of Atomfall so far down below.

That’s good, I’m quite intrigued about this one and hadn’t realised it was a Game Pass game.
Can't wait for this one looks really good!
Well this triggered a long forgotten memory!
When I was a Detective working a nightshift, the night after we had had an axe murder, the suspect rang from a callbox to hand himself in. I promptly raced to where he was and arrested him. When I took him to custody, I had to do a forensic combing of his hair. The chap had long black hair matted with blood and brain matter! So, seeing a guy with an axe at a callbox brought all that back to me..! 😂
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the game. Usually enjoy Rebellion games...

Looking forward to this one, cannot wait to give it a try
Great, we need yet another 1st person survival-action game... not.
I'm looking forward to this, I like what they are doing with the quest design but I do suspect a lot of people are going to roll into this expecting it to hold their hand and bouncing off it.
As long as current gen looks and plays beautifully, I'm ok with last gen gamers getting to enjoy this too!
A rip off of a rip off. I thought this might be a second game based on Atom RPG. Which was a rip off of earlier Fallout games. I might still check it out.
Continues to look excellent, hopefully ends up better than Atomic Heart, which similarly wowed prior to release but ended up a bit disappointing imo.
