@Dezzy70 Oh please, you’re the guy who was saying Gamepass must not be successful because there were Series X consoles on the shelf in the territory you live. Don’t try and change your tune now, you think only the hardware in your personal area must be an indication of how successful MS is with all of their strategies.

@RevGaming Considering I don’t use MTX for any games and use gamepass for a lot of indie and third party games that don’t have them and find them to be a far greater entertainment value than Sony’s latest Oscar bait game with more effort put into wowing the player with graphics and story than making an actual fun game, I’d say you can piss off with that assumption you’re making.

Anyways, I hope it isn't Square Enix, but not for Final Fantasy or Xbox reasons. I think the strongest output from them is Dragon Quest and their HD-2D stuff, and ripping that away from Nintendo would be incredibly unfortunate.

Konami is best case imo. At least then SOMEONE would make a good new Silent Hill game hopefully.

Constantly. I revisit games I love on a regular basis, and it’s the area that Microsoft does best of the big console manufacturers.

One Piece is my top 1 favorite manga series, but a lot of the games are meh…lack of Jinbe is also a bummer. I do hope this is good though, a turn based One Piece RPG is right up my alley

As for haptics, I have the same opinion on it that I have for any rumble feature in games. A dumb gimmick to be turned off so it doesn’t mess with my shoulder.

Healthy even mix of purchasing digital, using gamepass, and buying games I absolutely adore on gamepass when they either go on sale or are about to leave while the discount is still there.

If it's a game I consider an all time favorite on Xbox I will own it physical, which the most recent purchase in that regard was the steelbook of Yakuza Like a Dragon.

Eh, I’ll try it on gamepass. I like rough gems with their own unique identity if they speak to me.

If you care about that kind of game more then yes. You’re under the impression that AAA is always the best when…I think that’s a load of BS with how many boring AAA I’ve played. Many of them from Sony too.

Psychonauts 2 is straight up my GOTY

I bought 0 for pennies in a sale not long ago, I’ll wait to grab the first two Kiwami games in a sale too I guess. Very great games but I’m not surprised this happened eventually.

This man sent Rare to the Kinect mines and basically was the reason so many of the old blood that still remained jumped ship. So glad he’s gone.

It was my GOTY so I do agree it’s a huge shame.

Kinect is part of the reason for Rare’s mass exodus so I’ll always feel a bit bitter towards that tbh.

A purely for Psychonauts 2, which is also the best game released this year imo.

Low key most exciting news from the big Xbox event this week.

Metroid Dread absolutely deserves its nomination. It’s certainly the best game Nintendo put out this year and is already being compared to Super Metroid for best game in the franchise. That is nothing to sneeze at.

As someone that played and loved Tales of Arise I wouldn’t consider it a GOTY candidate personally, loved too many other games more.

Regardless I’m rooting for Psychonauts 2 in every category it’s nominated in since that’s my GOTY and SMT V for best RPG.

Death’s Door also deserved more.

No Jet Set Radio Future is a bummer, but oh well.

I will never touch a GaaS game Square Enix, despite loving Marvel and the MCU, so maybe that was the issue here.
