@uptownsoul I mean…the game has been in development for 6 years now. It definitely took some work.

First two games are fantastic, definitely anticipating the third one. Good games to put on Xbox, hopefully they put the first few Gunvolt games on there as well.

@UltimateOtaku91 Psychonauts is one of the few 3D platformers that has an involved story and the sequel will be picking up on a lot of lingering plot threads both from the original game and the VR game. If possible I’d say play the original, it’s aged pretty well imo.

Far and away Psychonauts 2. I’ve wanted a proper sequel to it for over half of my life at this point.

It was a good show even aside from that, albeit not many of the games were specifically up my alley. Gamepass means I’ll give most of them a go anyways though.

@Vinsanity You're leaving the context of how it appeals to core Nintendo fans out. People have WANTED a proper 2D Metroid that continues the main story for 19 years. You can't just write that off because it doesn't appeal to you.

WarioWare and the new Mario Party also look to be hitting their core audiences favorably as well.

B overall. Great showing for gamepass and I love Psychonauts 2 being close and Outer Worlds 2 existing.

I loved this trailer. Was a legitimate highlight of the show for me, definitely the most pleasant surprise.

And I put in my time off requests at work.

Absolutely cannot wait!

Not on Xbox One is a bit surprising

This was my GOTY last year. Absolutely recommend, was a thoroughly amazing Yakuza game and nailed the transition with both the genre shift and new series protagonist.

A lot of Microsoft first party titles don't interest me the most, but they have enough that I do care about to at least make this great news compared to how things were in the One era.

@The_New_Butler Psychonauts was never that big unfortunately. The first game is one of my all time favorites but it’s just a game that people pass by a lot. Hopefully the sequel does well on gamepass though. Easily my most hyped Xbox game right now.

I’d love Banjo to return but at this point I have no faith

I'm definitely cool with it, and it makes sense for the first few years as well. Also happy about Halo Infinite being cross gen too, no way some of my friends will be able to get a Series X by then.

With how much hype is mounting and how many little videos are coming out talking both new levels and plot details after watching this, I think i'm going to stop watching Psychonauts 2 stuff until I can get my hands on the game itself.

It feels tantalizingly close after these...some 15-16 years of waiting.

As a Sonic fan I AM excited I just...REALLY hope Sega has figured out the Blue Blur on this. Bit hit and miss, y'know?

An absolute classic

I love my Series X a lot, and it’s seriously saved me so much money in the long run thanks to gamepass. Spend a lot less on games now, especially with old games finding new life.

Still, the future is what excites me when we get a lot of the new next gen games like Halo Infinite, Perfect Dark, and whatever else Microsoft has up their sleeve.

Best of both worlds

Just finished the remaster of Judgment yesterday...just in time to get hyped for this. Day 1 buy.

On the one hand...awesome! On the other, was hoping to take some time off of work for this one and a shadow drop would throw a wrench into planning for that.

I’m excited because I hope it runs better on my Series X than it did on my Switch.

One of my most anticipated games this year, especially after Balan Wonderworld...well it didn’t seem to fill the void of a good new 3D platformer that isn’t Mario or Ratchet.

Hoping it can live up to the original, have been a fan ever since when it came to PS2.

Banjo-Kazooie is one of my favorite games of all time. It holds an immense amount of significance for me as my first 3D game and first N64 game. Couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve beaten it.

Believe it or not, Nuts & Bolts is why I got a 360. And tbh that game is not as bad as people make it out to be.

I love how they said nothing until Microsoft put them on blast.

And this is why I don’t buy Activision games

No way i'm risking even watching that then. Jeez...I was excited for this game before the demo, but now I just can't believe how amateur hour the whole thing seems to have shaped up to be.

Can’t say it is. I still have my base model Xbox One which has been totally eclipsed in use by my Series X with the sole exception of TV mode.

Very excited. Obsidian might be able to work on Fallout again, Microsoft has access to Id tech, Sega is going hard on gamepass with Bethesda now joining the ranks, and Double Fine has a safety net to just make some weird and goofy games and not worry about the business side. Good times ahead.

That's that I guess. DOOM is really all I care about when it comes to Bethesda these days if i'm being honest, but hey, if future DOOM games just hit gamepass day 1 that's the biggest win as far as i'm concerned.
