Yep! After the Immortals of Aveum on Series S "incident", I've since picked up a 2023 model ASUS TUF Gaming laptop with RTX 4060. PC gaming seems the way forward, even with its annoying "extra setup steps before play", and you get some PS games available.
I also bought it on sale but wish I had given that money to the needy instead. My main problem with it is the creepy demonic magic stuff and the BLURRY AS graphics from bad programming of their UE5 build to run on Xbox Series S. I played about 1 hour.
don't see the point of discs anymore since the digital dl capabilities isn't ever going anywhere from microsoft or apple, the two biggest companies in the world
CP77 is having save problems for me. I don't like the genre BG3 is set in, so that's not for me. About every 2nd save actually works/takes in CP77. Hopefully this general firmware update fixes the CP77 issue too.
I'm the same. No GP, no subs, just purchase single-player games only, and plan to re-play everything. Except, sometimes I do GP or other subs for a month to try things I'm not so sure about out.
Ammo weighs 0. I'm carrying about 10,000 rounds, all picked-up out and about for free. Is total nonsense, but better for fun (aka a game). Jesus bless you.
Lol, NG+ 30x is way too much. I'm just planning on very maybe starting a NG+ run when the Shattered Space DLC releases, for which it may be beneficial to be in NG+ for it. But it could also be the opposite, beneficial to be in my original space with all the main missions + companion + side activities completed. Will have to wait and see
I'm still playing Starfield daily, my personal 2023 GOTY. Haven't even finished all the stories and exploring and stuff after 150h playing, just wow. And at AU$160 total cost, what a bargain price per hour for HQ next-gen graphics entertainment. Happy with it, so hope it wins
Thank you for this list. I use it every year to bookmark what I should check back in on later. For me, Pragmata, unique Sci-Fi games/stories, is where it's at.
Thanks again and may Jesus Christ bless you and your families always!
Avatar is turning into my personal GOTY over Starfield.
How and why? Not because the story is more interesting, but because the world is even more beautiful and the immersion isn't continually broken by loading screens and fast travelling and talking bobble heads.
I couldn't agree more, Game Pass is massively expensive at over $200 AUD per year to own nothing and have to rebuy the games you liked to replay them later. It only works for non-genre-specific players (play anything) but not for strict-genre-single-players like me.
What are save files? Technically they're obviously just a small text list of coordinates of shifted items in the 3d game space and a list of inventory items and a log of quests/missions done and maybe a list of discussion tree selected dialog. So, should be a megabyte or a few in size only.
Last 2 weeks I also had CP77 saying "Save failed" as the save being pushed to the cloud save servers got rejected due to their terrible input bandwidth/processing-power. They just need a better high-quality server farm for save file storage.
It's clearly a problem with the save server farm not having enough bandwidth dedicated to it. Like a low quality network system like Optus in Australia.
Ahh, thanks, that makes sense why the crashing kept getting worse and worse for me also. I didn't go into that unity (fake god) nonsense and just went off instead to finish all the faction+romance storylines I had already started in my original universe.
They failed to manage RAM usage properly and that's why is crashes on the Series S lots. I think the Series X is reportedly better. Fast Traveling makes it worse, like it doesn't dump the old RAMed cached content properly to make room for the new content needing loading.
As a famous human falls down the rabbit hole of riches and unreligion and fame and 'artistry'... madness ensues before the hell fire. So, be humble and turn to Jesus's Way instead, before the Great Day of the Lord.
Just played the 1st 1-hour: Great graphics, 30fps on S, and hope you like playing as the kinda bad-guys (i.e. non-human false-religion worshippers). I'd probably prefer to play as teched-up humans killing all the false god worshipping aliens, lol. Game is OK imo, so will cancel Ubisoft+ now and wait to pick it up on mega-mega-sale.
The Outer Worlds: Spacers Choice Edition, purchased, then played 2h, then refunded, lol, that's it.
And why? Well, what a miserable world of low-humanity high-corp-culture, that I didn't want to spend more time in. Couldn't we have just banded all the people together to overthrow the corps, that would have been a better storyline, like Homefront: The Revolution.
Oh well, that's just my personal view. So, back to Starfield side-missions...

Finally a Star Wars game I might actually finish.
Non-flyer
Non-3rd-person
First-person single-player sci-fi campaign where you don't play as the damn evil empire

Re: Ubisoft's Open World FPS 'Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora' Has Officially Gone Gold
@IGN_Commenter
Forgot to say it's single-player campaigns only and where you play as the good guys also, very specific, so that's:
Homefront: The Revolution
Terminator: Resistance
Starfield
CoD Advanced Warfare campaign
CoD Infinite Warfare campaign
that's it.
Re: Ubisoft's Open World FPS 'Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora' Has Officially Gone Gold
@NarutosBiggestFan
Yeah, I'm not an Avatar movie fan, but instead a Sci-Fi FPS single-player campaign fan, so this is for me also
Re: Ubisoft's Open World FPS 'Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora' Has Officially Gone Gold
I'm a Sci-Fi FPS single-player campaign fan. Starfield being my GOTY right now.
So I'm looking forward to trying Avatar and only for AUD$20 via Ubisoft+.
Robocop was too violent/criminals for me, so refunded that.
