Any kind of improvements to the user experience on Xbox are always welcome, and that's exactly what we're getting with a few new ways to filter and sort all of the games in the "My Games & Apps" library via the "Filter" menu.
Some Xbox Insiders are currently testing various new filter options, as detailed down below:
"We’ve added some new filters and sorts to My Games & Apps to help you find exactly what you’re looking for! You can now filter games by Accessibility Options, Supported Languages, and Technical Capabilities. Additionally, subscription tabs have been updated to sort by recently added making it easier to see what’s new. Of course, you can always change the sorting if you prefer something else. Just head to My Games & Apps then Full library where you can find all the new filtering and sorting options."
Other new features we've noticed recently for Insiders include improvements to the "Access Restrictions" page in the Settings menu, along with the re-enabling of a feature that tells you when a game is about to leave Xbox Game Pass.
If you're interested in getting access to the latest features before everyone else, you'll want to check out the Xbox Insider program. The official "Xbox Beta" app for mobile also includes some sneak peak features from time-to-time, including the recent addition of touch controls for Xbox Remote Play.

Am I the only one that really wants Xbox to sort the Store sorting? I would love to have the option to sort by most recently added on there, which alone would save hours (each year) of trawling through the same games each week. And the ability to filter out games you already own, or even better, the ability to mark games that hold zero interest for you, so that, again, you do not have to see the games that you have no intention of buying week in, week out...!
Rant over... 🤣
I'd like a publisher search please.
"...And to make it even easier we will also ensure that all your top 100 searches are for games that are on Game Pass and either we published or we're getting loads of money to advertise..."
So, so sick of having full screen ads on my not cheap Series X whenever it comes out of hibernate mode (not just restart as was originally advertised) AND all the ads for GP that I don't intend to purchase AND all the ads for games that I have no interest in. This is one thing that PS5 gets right.
@Kaloudz
You'd think so wouldn't you but it doesn't.
Should be a simple fix I would've thought.
Just type sega and search. But no.
I'd love it if from the search function, you could have the filters; my partner is very picky when it comes to what type of game she wants to play with me, so if from the immediate search bar I could search for local multiplayer, whether its co-op or not, and if it's on game pass or not!
I also would like to be able to buy more than one at a time or have a button go to all dlc or add all dlc for certain games like crusader kings or Stellaris are good examples
This is OK but do we really have a problem with sorting through our OWN library of games like this? Seems super-niche. Would much prefer they spent their time fixing a litany of long standing bugs or bringing back home screen customisation
I would like to sort out all DLC content from the sales/specials of store. Especially DLC for games I've never played.
If I've never played The Sims I don't care that 100 different DLC are on sale🙄
I wish they had the option to mark games as ‘played’ or ‘completed’ even sorting by percentage complete would be good!
I wonder when they are going to fix this known issue:
Console doesn’t connect to the network as expected on boot
@Fiendish-Beaver
You're looking for this, but change to US store

For ***** sake just let us arrange them ourselves!
The store and the games and apps needs more filtering options. Groups is one thing to make your own but filtering based on the icons or just more than the Xbox One Enhanced games, EA Play, Gamepass or genre or other things, a lot more needs to be definable in these menus. That's useless to me.
Give me better filters for more 'important things' not just services they push, what about digital/physical games I want to filter things related to those (I don't have digital but any non-streaming service filters I mean) or other more important filtering for those Microsoft. Sigh do they want me to use this console or just make it a Gamepass machine which I never will. What useful filtering they don't offer.
Not whatever services games they want. The fact I have demos for 3 games in my library under a certain tab is enough for me to never use that part and just look at my groups/what's installed any time I'm in the Games and Apps menu. Unless I have to pin it/add it to the back compat groups for OG Xbox/360 I created.
That and they can stop making trashy OS navigation that makes me never want to use this console and less ads I'll use it more. I put a game in in some large play sessions of a few weeks and then large amounts of barely touching the console for my blu-ray tv series, Xbox One/smart delivery or back compat uses besides whatever app I need to look up rarely if ever for a important use case. Like CD playback or something.
