It was a few years ago that we first started hearing rumours about a potential Mandalorian game, and now Insider Gaming is reporting that Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor developer Respawn Entertainment is making it.
According to the report, this will be a linear, first-person experience in which you'll be tasked with capturing bounties amidst a Galactic Empire-dominated galaxy. The gameplay style is said to be "very fast-paced", primarily as a result of the Mandalorian's jetpack, and there will be a "wide variety" of weapons and gadgets to make use of.
Respawn is reportedly still in the early stages of development with this one right now, but that doesn't necessarily mean we'll be waiting forever - it apparently could be released in a year-or-two, although may end up taking longer.
In the meantime, it's well worth checking out Respawn's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor if you haven't already, and don't forget that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as well. Both come highly recommended!

I will play the crap out of this.
Any and everything except Titanfall 3.
I suppose it might not be too long, it's not like they would be making it from scratch. They'll have assets from the Jedi games, they obviously have Apex/Titanfall experience. (with the whole "empire-dominated" thing I assume this is a prequel).
@InterceptorAlpha Yeah that was my thought too, they just keep adding new projects. At this point, we're more likely to see some sort of Titanfall 1+2 remaster before Titanfall 3.

Keep it then, there's enough first person games in the industry. Indiana Jones being first person is an absolute crime.
A Star Wars “Monster Hunter”? I would enjoy that… I’m not sure I like that world “linear” though…

Fast gameplay built around a jetpack combined with the Mandolorian's arsenal? Sounds like the gameplay could have Armored Core vibes.

@AlwaysPlaying any that's nice that we actually see indy in the cutscenes but I don't think first person is right for that game at all. Same with this one to be fair

This sounds awesome!! First person took Indy from a maybe to a definite for me, but I can feel the pain for those that wanted third person.
Damn I want Titanfall to be front and centre again with a more carefully selected release window.
Finally a Star Wars game I might actually finish.
