I haven't changed my hi fi rush background since I installed it.

Still sticking with the Fallout one.

I wish every game that was released had a dynamic background a bit like how they have to have achievements - that would be pretty cool

Great to see some new ones. I've been sticking to the purple space one I got with my controller, but I'll give these a try.

I think I might be minimalist because my favourite so far is Dead Space Planet, but of course I welcome the variety 😉.

EDIT: I just checked them and they look great on my OLED TV, to be honest. I will change the background every now and then.

I imagine they're thinking, "Hey, cisgender heterosexual white men have been downtrodden for long enough. BOOOO, EQUALITY!!!!" or something along those lines 🙄

I'll stick to the Diablo one some of these are cool though.

@LordFunkalot Don't think you will get your drunken Irish theme because that would be a bit offensive as an Irish person I'd be offended but a regular Irish theme would be cool fo Paddy's day

@eire-shabba no intention to offend a fellow Irishman. An ill advised joke and no offence intended. As most folk know all too well that as nation we are known for our somber, conservative and thoughtful celebrations to our patron saint.

I think they look nice as a background, I just have the background off my wife with my two daughters

@Markatron84 well, it's like that age old saying goes, "did you bring enough for the whole class?" In other words, if you do one, you have to do them all. You can't do something for specific groups and leave some out. I couldn't be bothered either way personally, just playing devils advocate here.

@NintendoByNature my reasoning has always been that white cisgender heterosexual (mostly) men don't need what a lot of people call special treatment or to have their voices heard or to have awareness of their plight heightened. But that's just me 🤷

@Markatron84 Here's a novel idea, how bout not give anyone special treatment? Shouldn't that be the end goal, or do we just want to keep the pendulum swinging? This isn't equality...

@Markatron84 thats your opinion i suppose. There's quite a bit I'd like to say in response to your comment. However, seeing as though I genuinely love hanging out in this community, along with NL, it's probably best I don't get too into it.

@Trmn8r you're right. Nobody should need to have special treatment. But the people who are supposedly getting it (when in actuality, they're really not) aren't the problem.

I feel like this is the kind of thing that would benefit from a little notification letting us know the backgrounds have been added

I have the original Xbox (green blob) background. Mainly for nostalgia. But it does have extra worth in times like this. Reminds me of when xbox was about playing games and not ethnicity.

Well I guess if you want your Xbox background to be a reflection of your politics... can't help but to feel like this is just the typical corporate virtue signaling of today. I'll be sticking to the original Xbox look, it looks nice and like the comment above says, it reminds me of a time when these gaming platforms weren't about statements.

I like the game theme related backgrounds. These look a little plain.

Sadly we are absolutely nowhere near it.

In the short term, if things like this help people feel heard, it's hardly taking food off your table is it?

Where's the 'white pride' dynamic background? Seems racist not to have one available..

More more more abstract dynamic backgrounds! It's not enough. I like simple modern ones like the vertical stripes with one stripe of different color

@papafrezz81 we are moving in the wrong direction with this pandering. I don't care about you telling me your identities. Having to slap all these labels on ourselves is part of the problem.
