CD Projekt RED has announced a new upcoming trial period for Cyberpunk 2077 - and it'll be completely free for console players with no subscription required.
The five-hour free trial will be live at 8am PT / 11am ET / 3pm GMT on March 28th, and goes on until late on Sunday, March 31st. For the exact finishing times, check out the team's tweet down below as the trial will run over to April 1st in certain regions.
Since the release of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty last September, the team has continued to provide support for the Xbox Series X|S versions of its open world RPG. As far as we know this is the team's first free trial since the launch of that expansion - an expansion that went down very well with fans on release.
We loved Phantom Liberty too, and with that plus all of the updates CDPR has delivered for the Xbox Series X|S version of Cyberpunk 2077 in recent months, we can definitely say that this trial is worth checking out!
Thinking you might try this one out? Tell us if you've not played Cyberpunk 2077 yet down below.

just put the base game on game pass already. shezzz.
This is the game I've been saving all my microsoft points for. I'd love to give it a try before I buy.

@Divide_and_Wander same i want to give it a try before i buy. I waited for the 2.0 patch and DLC to see what the final review was. No need to talk about the launch. We all know how that went. But i knew the game would see its final shape at some point and I would want to jump in. The free trial tells me yes or no.
It needs a subscription?
@Spider-Kev It says both on the Twitter post and at the top of the article that it doesn't need a subscription.
@Amzoral:
"it'll be completely free for console players with no subscription required."
Normally, does it require a subscription?
@Spider-Kev You don't need a subscription to play a single-player offline campaign.
@Amzoral
Thanks
@Amzoral obviously, should've known himself smh, exactly why I don't need a subscription to live life anymore :3
