@Darylb88 it always depends on the game. There are a lot of Series X games which deliver 4K and 60fps. But when there are games like Alan Wake 2, a 500 buck system can't do miracles. Of course they could have made the console version with 60fps and 4K but with less good graphics.
I also don't have that much of a problem with games that don't deliver 60 fps like others seem to have.
When it's not a very fast game like Ghostrunner, where 60fps really helps the gameplay, I'm ok with 30 or 40 fps.
I played Silent Hill 2 and Dead Space with 30 fps because of the better visuals, I was ok with that.
And even the next Gen will struggle with 4K 60 fps depending on the games.

Halo Infinite is definitely one of them to me. The campaign sucked me in like it was a new Metroid game from Nintendo.

@AverageGamer ok, I'm interested if you can explain these "many ways". Because I never had a feeling like this with my Series X so far.

@Darylb88 stop crying. What are you expecting from 500 buck consoles? And we weren't told, it's relying on the games and in some cases, you're getting these specs only on a high end pc. The performance of the Series X is great for its price.

@themightyant the sad thing is, this Gen is pure luxury. No matter if you love AAA games, indie games or Remasters or Remakes. No Gen so far had such a huge selection of awesome games, but people are crying like never before.

What a surprise... Series S is just a weak system and it gets harder for developers porting their heavy games to that thing.

Buying the Series S is definitely stinginess on the wrong end, besides you only want to play very simple games like Among Us and you're a casual gamer.

But I think, they should skip a pro model. We all are seeing how not great it turns out for Sony, as almost no one really wants a PS5 Pro.
So Microsoft should just bring a next Gen system at the right time.

I think it's hard to say.
I would say 2027 is fine. But it seems that the Series X isn't selling that good, which is bad for Microsoft.
And even if I'm fine by myself with the Series X as it is, because I love that system,
I totally understand that right now, the sales aren't growing much after the ***** news from the last year, as people loose trust in Microsoft.
A new system with a good strategy could turn things for Microsoft, it's a hard situation right now.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner yes, Sega doesn't like Game Pass and I understand them.

The Elite Series 2 was one of my biggest disappointments with the Series X so far.

I even bought it trough Design Lab and loved it on first sight. But hell, if I would have known sooner.
The right analog stick was slightly loose in the middle after not even 6 months, so I already had a light drift effect.
It's so not worth it's high price.
I the meantime I got the Fusion 4 from Power A, which is my new Pro controller and worth it's name.
Never ever an Elite Controller again.

Oh my god, another over 100GB title 😅😅😅 I really hope they start the next Gen XBox with 2TB from the start. I couldn't live anymore without the 1TB expansion SSD and If it wouldn't be so ridiculous expensive, I would have already changed it into a 2TB one.

It really needed an update to let me know that I can deinstall games😅

WWE 2K25, I installed it today and I guess, I will have some time tomorrow.

I want another Modern Warfare, I can't stand Black Ops 6.
I loved Cold War and MW2 and MW3.
But Black Ops 6 not, small maps the whole time with high speed running and jumping.
I'm tired.

If its still a console, yes I want to. And if they still integrate a disc drive and backwards compatible, I absolutely want to.

I would be happy if they give error codes, when games suddenly crash.

I bought my physical copy(not Game Pass discount) and played a bit with my wife. So far it's awesome.

Doesn't sound that good. Seems like a big change to the game. I hope it turns out well.

The bigger problem would be, if it really comes to PS5. 😒 PS5 doesn't deserve this game, simple as that.

I hope it won't crash as often as AC Mirage on my Series X.

Over here in Germany, it doesn't look much better. Amazon doesn't have the Series X on stock. But I think, I would get one here at other retailers.
But it's a bit scary indeed. I hope this will change soon.

And even if it doesn't work. This game is awesome and cheap as hell.

@M20B25 the whole launch of the Series X was very barebones. But gladly, the system is much better and more interesting over the years.

I'm totally fine with it. I like it.

Does someone else besides me have problems with games crashing on Series X???
I have my system for about 2 years and 3 months. In the last 2 months, I had 3 or 4 times that my game suddenly crashed with a black screen and I was returned to home menu.

It wasn't the same game, I had this 1 time with Dragon Age The Veilguard, Lollipop Chainsaw Repop, AC Mirage.

@Rog-X yeah right, I know that. I also bought my present Core subscription on a different site.
But right now, when moving from Core to Ultimate, you're losing half of your rest time. So it's not worth it for me anymore. Of course it's still better than paying full Ultimate every month.

Great, enjoying games also means to me, that I have the option of buying these on disc, which Microsoft doesn't want me to, it seems.

It was the original XBox.
But in my case, I wasn't that much interested back then. I had a PS2 and later a Gamecube.
My brother already had the XBox and loved it. We played a lot of Halo and Dead or Alive 3, I watched him play several games, but I wasn't in need to have it myself.
The XBox 360 was the place when XBox really got me on fire.
I remember, about 3 months after launch, Capcom showed the trailer of Lost Planet. I was like: holy *****, I need this!
And Kameo was already out and Dead or Alive 4 on the fence.
I bought the 360 Premium Pak together with Kameo and NFS Most Wanted. My 3rd game was Fight Night 3, which looked like a real box fight.
And when I saw Dead or Alive 4 at a store on an early HD TV, well, a month later I had the same TV.
I loved every bit of that console to death, this console also brought me to online gaming and made me meet some good people.

@Fiendish-Beaver yeah, the Game Pass Ultimate is like an illusion. When we could just buy a year of gold and transform it to Ultimate, it was like: why not.
But now, it's expensive and lot of people are paying for more than can use out of it.
It's a "pay the whole time" circle and if you quit it, you have nothing.
I really prefer buying games, it's not always day 1, I just bought Indiana Jones.
Most of my games are on disc. No one tells me, when a game isn't available anymore and I'm in no subscription rush.
I like it that way.

@Fiendish-Beaver than you can do it like me, not supporting Ultimate, go with Core, if you like to play online and just buy every game.

1 game confirmed for Game Pass "Ultimate".
They could make Game Pass Core a bit more interesting, I preferred the times of XBox live gold with 4 free games per month.

I'm so happy, that they made this 2nd Trilogy. But I will wait, because I'm very sure, there will also be a physical release with this one.
I want the same nice Collectors Edition with Steelbook and art book like the 1-3 Trilogy.

Not supporting this game. Ridiculous 'code in a box' release, far too expensive and I don't think it would be my cup of tea.

A wise decision from them, to bring the disc version. I bought it in December.

Well. I guess it's almost like porting the game to Switch.

The worst game in the main series in my opinion. It should be more than just some better graphics or resolution.
