It was last year that PDP officially unveiled the Riffmaster Wireless Guitar for Xbox, finally providing Rock Band and Fortnite Festival fans with a new controller on the market, and now CRKD is following suit with the Gibson Les Paul.

Available for pre-order today and shipping in June of 2025, there are two versions of this guitar for Xbox - the Black Tribal Encore Edition and the Blueberry Burst Pro Edition. Both come with some cool features including wired and wireless support, a removable battery, a pair of analog sticks and much more, while the Pro Edition specifically adds a mechanical fretboard and Hall Effect Strum Bar - the latter of which can be fine tuned via a companion app.

Here's what the head of product design at CRKD, Stephen Withers, had to say about today's reveal. It's noted in the press release that the company was "established by the product development and design team" at RedOctane, which worked on the Guitar Hero series back in the early days.

“The rhythm music genre holds significant historical importance, and our dedication to the legacy we contributed to remains steadfast. The enthusiasm for music gaming continues to thrive, particularly with the immense popularity of titles such as Fortnite Festival. We believe it is the right moment to enhance the experience and innovate the hardware that greatly influences gameplay. We are pleased to collaborate with Gibson to introduce this new range to both longstanding and new fans, and we anticipate witnessing the continued growth of the genre in 2025 and beyond."

The Xbox version works with Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, as well as PC and Android devices, and it's a separate product to the "multi-platform" version that's targeted at PlayStation and Nintendo Switch users.

Similar to the Riffmaster, prices are just over $100 for these guitars, with the Pro version naturally coming in a little higher. There are add-ons you can buy as well if you wish, and it's all happening over on the CRKD store right now.

We'll throw some links down below if you're interested in pre-ordering, along with some screenshots. In related news, we'll also have a review of PDP's guitar going live on Pure Xbox shortly - hopefully that'll help you make your mind up!
