Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was one of the major Xbox releases of last year, and while it missed out on certain end-of-year award shows in 2024, it has made the shortlist for multiple events taking place in early 2025.
This includes the DICE Awards - with the action-adventure Game Pass title by MachineGames racking up three awards at this year's ceremony. This included "adventure game of the year", "outstanding achievement in story" and "outstanding achievement in character".
PlayStation's Astro Bot also scooped up multiple awards on the night including the big 'Game of the Year' award. You can see the full list of winners on the AISS website.
In Microsoft's recent earnings results update, the company's CEO Satya Nadella mentioned how the game has now surpassed four million players since its release. It was a 'day one' launch on Xbox Game Pass and will soon follow with a release on the PlayStation 5.
The same title has also picked up awards at certain other events, including 'best acting' at the New York Game Awards.

Very well deserved. That game was damn near flawless imo. One hell of a solid adventure.
I started playing this a couple of weeks ago and its the best game I've played from 2024, it's an outstanding adventure game that really captures the feel of those movies. The exploration and puzzles are rewarding and whilst you can have action if you want, I think I've fired my gun once in some 20 hours of play
Absolutely loved this game it was almost perfect apart from a couple of small bugs near the end for me. I'll definitely be buying this for PS5 when it releases to play through it again.
Really great game I can't wait for the dlc to release!
Best looking game ever made the cut scenes are so high quality if you squint it could be real life!
Looking forward playing it. Got my disc version yesterday 😊
Brilliant game, well deserved. Though I wish they would fix some of the bugs, I still can't complete the codes quest and "Tuned In" achievement in Sukhothai as Gina has disappeared and is stuck elsewhere on the map. It's a known problem on their forums, as are a couple of other bugs, but they haven't updated since 1.3.1. It doesn't ruin a brilliant game, but it does leave a bitter taste in the mouth.
@themightyant I initially thought this was locked out for me too but I was able to hand in codes at the main village area dock, it was the only one that would register post game.
Absolutely deserved! One of the best games I've played. One of those you don't want to end and not just because of the story but everything else: gameplay, exploration, immersion, interaction, sound, voice acting, graphics...
@PeaceSalad Thanks for the suggestion mate, but I've tried that - I've tried them all - but it won't let me turn them in. I know where the prompt is meant to appear, but it doesn't as Gina's not there.
It's a known bug they said would be fixed in a later update, but that was back in December.
@themightyant Aw no way, sorry mate I couldn’t be more help. The Sukhothai area seems to have the most technical issues of any of the main areas. The pop in was especially frequent throughout my time in the area and item locations were bugged to all hell.
Its insane how dominant Xbox is again! Scooping all the awards that actually matter yet again, there hasnt been any award show that Xbox hasnt been stealing the spotlight this round too! What a good time to be Xbox fan!
@PeaceSalad Agreed. I had no major bugs in the rest of the game, but Sukhothai felt a little rushed/unpolished in places.
no link to your review?
not played this yet but really looking forward to doing so
@themightyant there is a big patch coming next week to add DLSS 4 on PC and they've said also includes bug fixes, so hopefully this is one that gets sorted
@carlos82 Thanks dude. Will look out for it. Fingers crossed.
Well deserved too. I have to limit my playtime as it makes me sick, but it's a great game I'm really enjoying and its put together technically excellently too.

' Scooping all the awards that actually matter'
Really?
This sites sister site reports: 'Astro Bot won five awards, including Game of the Year, while Helldivers 2 grabbed four gongs. MLB The Show 24 also took home the sports award, rounding out a very impressive night for PS Studios.'
I'm delighted that Xbox are seeing those investments pay off and producing great games, we are all richer for them. But they are clearly not winning all the awards, or anything like it.
Maybe next year they will as there is lots of good stuff coming this year.

Very well deserved. I am still enjoying it and it's one of the few games that I want to 100%. Definitely my GotY for 2024.
