I loved this on the original Xbox but, with the best will in the world, (to me) it has not dated particularly well - camera still drives me mad, and then it randomly crashed on me and deleted my progress when around half way through… probably revisit it in the future but am in no rush to do so.

Bought Diablo 4 when it came out and not really a massive fan; Dragons Dogma 2 for me - Frustrating and fun in equal measure!

Oblivion still lives in my head, rent free, so hopefully similar to that but with a better engine… although, after the (in my opinion) disappointment of Starfield, I am a little pessimistic

Cant wait to play this! As Alone in the Dark sounds pretty average, nothing is going to compete for my gaming time this weekend

I played the previous Alone in the Dark from 2007ish and was seriously disappointed, but am hopeful this one is decent. Definitely getting Dragons Dogma 2 day one!

The 360 had games, a number of them exclusive, which is more than the One or Series X has had. it also let games for the original Xbox disappear a lot quicker, so the games were not held back for too long.

I loved the first one so will definitely pick this up on launch

I enjoyed the first Greedfall so will probably get the sequel, and the Dragonkin looks okay but I’ll need to see a bit more…

I played this for a few hours but it didn't hold my interest - may give it another go… personally preferred Atlas Fallen for a not-quite-AAA game

GreedFall was great! Definitely interested in a sequel.

Like a few others, I’m playing Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, and am really enjoying the first few hours; will probably also play a hit more of The Man Who Erased His Name - I do quite like these Yakuza/Like a Dragon games.

Am sure some have already been mentioned, but The Suffering, Jade Empire, Arx Fatalis, Black, Escape from Butcher Bay, Darkwatch, Enclave, Fahrenheit, Gun, The Punisher, and The Thing are all games Id love to revisit new/improved versions of…

I actually bought this a few months ago in a sale and found it ti be initially fun but then became repetitive with some frustrating parts so gave up on it… with little wish to return

I can probably live with 30 fps on a large open-world game… but ONE save file? That’s a game breaker for me

Super-tough, but Id go with - for pure game physics, story, replayability - BioShock, followed swiftly by Oblivion…

I finished my game-of-the-year, Alan Wake 2, last weekend ao today will be playing the repackaged Terminator: Resistance - agree with @Kraven that it’s a pretty decent game for an AA one, and I really must pick up RoboCop in next few weeks…

Similar to others, I’m apparently top 10% for hours, then top 5% for both GS and achievements, even though I don't feel like I’ve played that much this year as been trying to get out more IRL…

I was very pleasantly surprised by Atlas Fallen; also need to play Robocop at some point…

I would probably wait for a price drop normally, but Dragons Dogma 2 is a game I have wanted for ages so am going to be weak and still buy day one…

I went with Ryse, although Dead Rising 3 a close second. As others have said, the One may have been pretty disastrous at launch but definitely had better launch games than the series X…

I’ve always been terrible with games involving driving - inc GTA 3 & 4; never tried 5 - so it will just pass me by… would much rather have Bully 2!

@AlwaysPlaying Played it but not a fan of it; that said, I completed it on hardest setting so may be actual fun on a lower difficulty… otherwise, go for Dead Space remake!

Alan Wake 2 - far and away my Game of the Year; just reached point of no return so expect near the end of the game but happily will play again as need to replay for the collectible achievements…

Like others, RoboCop or Mirage would be nice, same for Lords of the Fallen - very unlikely but here’s hoping!

Stallone’s Tulsa King, and Kiefer Sutherland’s Rabbit Hole were pretty enjoyable, plus finally started watching Elementary years after everyone else watched it!

It may just be rose-tinted glasses but I still feel 2007 was the best year for games, from Darkness to Mass Effect, Orange Box to Modern Warfare, Bioshock to Halo 3, it really hurt my wallet!
That said, this year has been brilliant, even if - for me personally -Starfield was a bit disappointing…

Alan Wake 2 - this game is just phenomenal and definitely my game of the year so far (to be fair, havent played Baldurs Gate 3 yet, but it’s way better than Starfield felt)…

Yesterday was too busy with IRL activities, but planning on playing Immortals of Aveum today - missed it when initially released but bought on sale a few days ago and it’s proving to be really quite fun!

Good call - years since played it but did enjoy Singularity; same release year, I think, as 007 Blood Stone, which was also pretty fun and not a CoD game!

If going back to original Xbox, would love another/updated Jade Empire…

About six hours in and I cant give it more than 6/10; it is so weak compared with Skyrim, Oblivion, or Fallout 3. No maps, weak combat, ten years of development and still incredibly glitchy… I have read it gets better and I very much hope so because, right now, its pretty ‘meh’…

I bought for my series X but it is completely unplayable which is especially annoying as it did play okay but since an update is a broken mess. Shame, and rather a waste of money.

I need this in my life!

I bought a 10TB external drive so doing okay for now, although some games can only work on the X’s drive, which is annoying…

Tried to continue playing Hogwarts Legacy, but the latest patch has completely ruined the game, so replaying Dead Space remake.

Tried playing NG at the weekend but a bizarre bug left me losing all weapons when picking up the first upgraded weapon… it doesnt appear in my inventory so completely defenceless. Personally thought it a weak game but I was willing to give it a second chance, but definitely not a third!

Tried playing NG on Callisto Protocol but game breaking bug has taken away all my weapons - quite amazing they made a terrible game even worse! Makes me look more forward to Dead Space though.

Interested in a couple, and hopefully Dead Space will be as addictive as it was for me when first released on the 360… and more hopeful that it wipes the abysmal Callisto Protocol from my memory - I just found that to be a massive disappointment.

God, I hated playing this game! Will take a lot more for me to revisit; hopefully Dead Space will be more competent

Just played - and completed - Callisto Protocol. Not a fan of it at all! Looks great but, in my opinion, plays poorly; especially that dodge!

Was playing Callisto Protocol, but I’ve quickly gone off it due to less-than-stellar combat. Maybe the Midnight Suns game will be worth my time as I did rather like Enemy Unknown several years ago
