It's time for another weekend! As usual, this past week treated us to more Xbox Game Pass titles, a variety of Free Play Days offerings, some big releases including Sonic Superstars, and a massive Shocktober Sale on the Xbox Store!
Here's what we're playing this weekend:

So, I'm allowed to say I'm playing Jusant for review ahead of its Xbox Game Pass launch on October 31st, so that's going to take up most of my weekend. I may also squeeze in a bit of Disney Speedstorm and maybe even some Like A Dragon: Ishin! - although I'm kind of waiting for Like a Dragon Gaiden in November at this point.
Apart from that, it's going to be a quiet weekend gaming-wise as I'm actually getting married in a few days' time! You won't see me on Pure Xbox for a little while as a result, so I'll be leaving you in the capable hands of Ben, Craig and the rest of the team. Hopefully I don't miss any crazy news while I'm away!
Have a good weekend, folks!

It may be a wonderful week for Nintendo and PlayStation with heavy hitters like Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder releasing yesterday, but for me, my eye is on the real prize; getting the final achievement for Signalis before it leaves Xbox Game Pass October 31st. I’ve installed it on my new ASUS ROG Ally (which I was super impressed with when I reviewed it earlier this year) so I can kick back and get stuck in on the couch whilst my partner watches ‘Married At First Sight’ on the living room TV. I’ve completed this awesome PS1 themed survival game once already, but I’m out to mop up the final cheevo.
Outside of the retro-horror vibes, I’m thoroughly enjoying getting stuck into Halo Infinite Season 5. I recently watched the Halo World Championship and it just hooked me once again. The Bandit Evo in Ranked matchmaking instead of the trusty BR is interesting, but fun. If anyone fancies playing competitively with this ole guy, I think I was just shy of Onyx last season and I’d like to make the push this time around!
Happy gaming!
