Game looks amazing, but am finding the combat pretty sub-par, and it sounds like it just gets worse. Disappointing.

I bought Gotham Knights at launch and agreed it’s a pretty solid 7/10.

Found it to be pretty poor game unfortunately. Incredibly repetitive environments and gameplay with original Xbox era ideas all over. Very forgettable.

After finishing it I can safely say worst game I have played in a LONG time. 6/10 is a compliment!

Finally playing New Tales from the Borderlands

Max Payne - first game I played on Xbox when bought the original big box many years ago! Cant wait to replay. AW2 definitely a day one purchase.

Gotham Knights and probably latest CoD for me.

Some good mentions already, but I’ve always had a soft-spot for The Suffering - possibly as it was my first Xbox game! But it was pretty fun; shame sequel was a but lacklustre

Quite liked Deathloop, but this one is hit my bag. A little too obtuse. Gamepass is great because ut lets us llay games normally would avoid and very much looking forward to Tuesdays release.

Whilst I wasn’t a fan of the third game, I thought the first two were brilliant. Will definitely be picking this up at launch (and, yes, same for Callisto!).

Elden Ring without doubt; absolutely brilliant game. Otherwise has felt pretty poor this year on the Xbox although As Dusk Falls and Cult of the Lamb are both enjoyable.

I was not a fan of the 360 "Alone in the Dark" gersion but happy to give new one a chance.

Really enjoyed this - recommended!

One chapter in and quite enjoying it. Have avoided spoilers and randomoy getting achievements; already wondering what different choices will get me story-wise.

One I bought on spur of moment when it launched, and it was pretty fun to play. That said, dont remember a damned thing about it!

Bought and played Life is Strange redux - does not hold up well, esp when this atrocious update has parts where it is literally unplayable for large sections elg. all audio disappears.

Had a go with Blade Runner, but is a little dated for my tastes. Am also getting nostalgic playing Steve Jackson’s Sorcery!, which is pretty fun so far!

@Fenbops A fairly quick completion but love the art direction. Fairly standard shooter otherwise. Their next game definitely will be one to watch.

Interesting little game called Industria - great art direction so intrigued what their next game will be.

Absolutely loved the first one - hopefully can recapture and build on that - too many sequels have wound up being a bit rubbish.

The first on had not dated well, despite my loving it as a child. Hopefully this one has!

@RaZieLDaNtE I wish I could move on from Elden Ring. I "completed" it on first run but have very happily played through another two times… and will do so a fourth!

@Kooky_Daisuke Binary Domain and Jade Empire are a pair if fantastic games! Admittedly I haven't played them in a few yers but would love them to be re-released on the series s/x with updated graphics.

I loved the first, but thought this one was pretty poor.

Still on Elden Ring; grabbed all achievements a little while ago, just really enjoying it! Lego Star Wars next up though…

@cbodz Same here. Are there other games out there?! Have got all the achievements now but there are still lots of NPC quests etc to complete.

Agreed - nothing exists for me outside of Elden Ring right now! The game world is huge and is amazing, occasional boss fight aside…

Have to disagre. Whilst the story may not be evetyones cup of tea, the game itself is fantastic. The game world is ridiculously huge, the bosses tough, but it is a bold, beautiful game-world and worth anyones time and money.

Have barely touched the story so far, just trying to get the whole map showing/killing mini-bosses etc. This one is definitely going to take a while!

Elex 2 sounds interesting but suspect I’ll be playing Elden Ring for quite some time yet…

@Nightcrawler71 I know what you mean - I am finding it a lot less fun/more frustrating than the firstDL. Not quite Ubisoft level of bloat in it but definitely a case of more is less.

Dying Light 2 for me; a pretty poor game but killing zombies is always fun!

Need to mop up some Halo Infinite achievements, but The Gunk is the one being played over the weekend.

Not really sure of the appeal of these as do not seem to hold much. Much prefer my wine fridge!
That said, pretty sure my nephew is desperate for one!

Wound up playing, and co -leting, Guardians of the Galaxy. Pretty fun but nit sure much replay value.

I actually bought Forgotten City when it first released - definitely worth a revisit.

Really enjoyed, and only recently finished, the first game. Preordered this already and this just makes it sound even better.

So many to pick from but Dead Space 2, Fable 2, Dead Rising 2, Darksiders 2, and The Darkness 2 main ones which spring to mind.

Just backed it; definitely seems a good idea, esp for when I visit family.

Potentially looking a good month ahead! Hadn’t even heard of either Last Stop or Death’s Door but both sound interesting.
