It's fantastic to see LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker on Xbox Game Pass now, but it's another Star Wars game I'm going to be playing this weekend - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. I still haven't finished Respawn Entertainment's epic adventure yet, and with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor just around the corner, I think it's about time I completed it.
Also, with SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake launching this January, I'm trying to make my way through Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated right now. As someone who never played the original, I'm enjoying it quite a lot so far! Finally, I also want to try Chained Heroes on Xbox Game Pass, as it's been getting some incredible reviews.
Have a good weekend, folks!

Chained Echoes. 2 hours in and it is very promising so far.
Cyberpunk 2077 and Lego Star Wars with my daughter.
Hi there fellow gamers;
This weekend I´ll be playing and finishing a really good game called Death´s Door, contiue playing Prodeus and maybe I´ll begin playing Life is Strange True Collors on my Series X.
On my PS5 I´ll be playing the demos of Forspoken and Season a Letter to the Future.
Finally on my Switch I´m either going to continue my Triangle Strategy playtrough or play the first Bayonetta game.
Cheers, stay safe everyone and happy gaming weekend to us all
Back on to some gaming for me this weekend, haven't played a lot over the last couple of weeks due to watching world cup games every day and catching up on my anime backlog.
So on PS5 i will be playing Neptunia Re-verse
On switch its Dragon quest treasures and Bayonetta 3
And on my series S I will continue with Dying Light 2
Playing LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Sega in-between the world cup matches.
@Chaudy
England 🏴 tonight.
Brazil out amazing.
Back to games, just trying the Forspoken demo
It does seem ok.
Chained Echoes. It’s very good. Started it and it’s got me hooked. The battles are fun!
Been diving into MyRise in WWE 2K22, enjoying it so far. I'll probably continue with Chaines Echoes too.
Also. i shouldn't have tried Monster Train on Game Pass because it's freaking addictive.
Will be playing a lot of Grid (2019) on Series X this weekend. Absolutely fantastic racing experience, I highly recommend it if you're looking for another good motorsport series like Forza. I'll also be checking out the latest Mario Kart 8 DLC on Switch with friends.
I'll probably also continue my playthroughs of God of War Ragnarok and Pokémon Violet.
Going to try out Callisto Protocol.
Playing through the new chapter on Vermintide 2, maybe some division 2 and Lego Star Wars also
I just got back from my honeymoon in Cancun Friday evening, so I’m mainly recouping. If I do find the energy, it’ll be spent unpacking and cleaning up the house after all the wedding charades and decorations.
That said, I am playing Chained Echos on Xbox Game Pass. This is quite the fantastic JRPG that is highly reminiscent of classic games from the SNES era. The world and story building are wonderfully done, and the combat is also spectacular. And it’s not a great JRPG without a killer soundtrack, and this game does not disappoint. I’m really looking forward to spending more time in this well-crafted world.
Aside from that, I’ll still be doing my normal runs here and there in Vampire Survivors. And, the fact that the game is now on mobile, my addiction is only going to be further amplified.
Speaking of rouge-likes, with the announcement of Hades II, I decided to go back to an old save file of the first game and complete some more escapes. What a masterpiece of a game this is - from the well written characters, impeccable voice acting, and the sheer fun factor - I can’t wait to see what the sequel holds.
@LtSarge
Do you mean Grid or Grid Legends? Because Legends is actually much better IMO.
I'm playing Star Citizen and Death Stranding on my PC. Loving the former and starting to get mixed feelings about the latter. I'm in Chapter 6 and the gameplay is starting to wear me out.
@gollumb82 I know, that's why I bought a physical copy of Grid Legends and I'm playing through Grid (2019) through EA Play for only €4.
I bought a month of EA Play last week and decided to play some racing games. Tested Grid Legends first because I thought it only had a 4-5 hour campaign. Turns out it has a 4-5 hour story mode as well as a career mode that's dozens of hours long, which I had no idea about. I highly enjoyed my time with Legends that I ordered a copy of it. I'm not liking Grid (2019) as much as Legends, but I figured I might as well use up my month of EA Play playing through that game instead of buying it.
Either way, Grid is a fantastic racing series with a nice mix of arcade and sim handling. It also has great and varied tracks as well as absolutely gorgeous visuals. It's become my second favourite racing series after Forza.
Disney Dreamlight Valley and King of Fighters 15.
Playing Lego Star Wars and my usual Halo multiplayer. I'm tempted by Chained Echoes as well.
@LtSarge
Yeah, I remember being blown away by the visuals of Grid Legends. Codies have almost no match in the audio department. I say almost as I'm currently learning the ropes in Assetto Corsa Competizione and the audio in that game... Man, it gives me shivers sometimes.
I'm really enjoying Fortnite again. The new graphics looks amazing and I'm actually fairly good at the game. IMO way better than majority if battle royals in the market. I might give Yakuza Judgment a few hours too
Lord of the rings online and Marvel Midnight Suns I also got into ultimate alliance a little bit on switch
@Dezzy70 England gonna win world cup
I’m playing the demos from TGA and party games. Bring on 2023. Ready to be bludgeoned with new games.
@Chaudy
We shall see very soon.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate and the latest powgi game
LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game (PS2) - Nearing the end of the first episode in my minikit collectathon. That pod racing level can rot in hell though....
Rayman Jungle Run (Windows Phone) - Adore this so far!
Age of Sparta (Windows Phone) - I'm in the mood for a resource gathering game and this will fit the bill.
I finally finished Persona 5, wishing Persona 5 Strikers was on Xbox… but for now playing Plague Tale Requiem (still not getting used to the stuttery frame rate, my TV is too big for anything under 60fps) and a bit of Castlevania Circle of the Moon from the Advance Collection.
Edit: Circle of the Moon beat, damn these games are hard. Had to use extensive use of rewind to be able to beat this.
Still grinding my way through GOW Rangorok, its a great game.
Lego star wars getting some love, I cant believe theres so much in it!
... and me and my misses have been really getting into couch co op in 'Dragons Crown Pro'. Its embarrassingly formulaic trashy fantasy, but god help us, we love it!
Whatever your playing, have a great weekend!
@Dezzy70 I'm so heartbroken
Such a shame, the second penalty miss wow.
I think they tried hard at least and it wasn’t a shambles or players being lazy.
Wonder if Southgate will stay now.
Been doing my usual stock checks and very surprised how sales have slowed right down since Black Friday week. Sort of expected a little.
Any console easy available even all in solo console versions for a change.
Was wondering if the good ole cost of living is catching up as well now in the UK.
Seems mains sales at the minute or Series s and PS5 solo digital, which is a surprise, so me thinking the money is definitely not about for expensive toys.
@Titntin
Enjoying the Forspoken demo believe it or not.
I do enjoy exploring so I think that helps.
I sort of getting used to its slight strange combat and parkour.
If the full game can have real substance and point and meaning it could do well.
The very first Watch_Dogs.
Just finishing Vampire Survivors
A excellent game!
I just finished Somerville. It was okay. It probably should have been a short film. I think it even wanted to be a short film, it starts with an extended credits sequence and is letterbox and everything. Great imagery, the use of color, but really obtuse endings, a lot of abstraction that wasn't very satisfying, and there really wasn't much in the way of interactive gameplay. It's a lot of avoiding enemies searching for you and very basic puzzling, until the last puzzle that requires a phd in exolinguistics to fully appreciate.
Now I'm going back to the last act of Pentiment. I love the game but some of the railroading frustrated me enough to put it down for a couple weeks so I could appreciate the ending without a sour taste in my mouth.
I think I'm going to play Persona 5 Royal, I'm about to complete the first palace in the game
I'm going to check warzone 2.0 out with my friends.
@Dezzy70 I do believe you. Ive always felt Forespoken would be a game I'd enjoy, so Im very pleased by the demo. I wasn't sure at first, played 10 minutes and it felt a bit janky. Tried again in performance mode at 60hz and Im into it. Another hole in wallet incoming! 😂
@Titntin
Went HFR 120hz with VRR, performance mode.
As smooth as butter and very good motion as you run by.
Just played - and completed - Callisto Protocol. Not a fan of it at all! Looks great but, in my opinion, plays poorly; especially that dodge!
It started with a trailer for jedi survivor and followed with around 10 hours of skywalker saga on series x. The weekend will be me going to amazon locker to pick up spyro for switch to add to recent crash purchases
Xbox Series X - Sonic Frontiers, Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate (just bought the DoA Ultimate box set brand new the other day to replace the one I idiotically traded away with some other games back in the mid-2000s when I upgraded from original Xbox to the 360)
PS5 - Gotham Knights
LEGO: Star Wars for me.
I wanted to finally start Immortality as I've heard nothing but praise, and there's a rewards quest for it. Though I had an emotionally trying Saturday, and the content warning at the start made me reconsider. So the light hearted Star Wars was the much better choice.
Vampire Survivors.
I am hopelessly addicted to this fantastic game!
