Looks like there are some good deals there. I’ll take a look at the full sale on my XBOX when I’m home tonight! I have about $30 in Microsoft Rewards to spend.
Thanks for the heads up!
I’m tempted by the Calisto Protocal … heard it is a good play now… anyone played it and loved it?
Hmm wwe and AC Mirage are tempting
@Kaloudz good to hear. I actually don't mind a shorter experience. I've been playing too many longer games as of late, and I'm about to jump into super mario rpg and P5T soon lol
FYI, we may be missing a few games until the sale goes officially live on Friday.
There are definitely supposed to be over 1000 games altogether...
"With up to 50% off over 1,000 console games, it’s a great time to stock up on titles like Starfield, Forza Motorsport + Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition Bundle, EA Sports FC 24, NBA 2K24, Mortal Kombat 1, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Diablo IV, and more."
I still don't understand why they advertise "up to 50% off" when many of them are clearly over 50%!
Resident Evil 4 Remake was not in the preview list yesterday and it's not selected here either, but it's 35% off (deluxe edition).
@Banjo- Great catch, I'll add it in.
@FraserG Cool.
@Kaloudz glad to read you enjoyed Mirage! I will try it when I got time, as I have a long backlog now across Steam, Xbox and Switch. This year has been insane!
@Kaloudz It happens with every Xbox sale. And yet every sale has games that are at least 90% off, if not 95% off.
@Kaloudz It's like on Game Pass, they say 100+ games but it's sometimes twice as many! Nintendo does the opposite, they use the biggest third-party discount (80% or 90%) to market their sales but Nintendo's games, the only ones worth getting on Switch, are 33% off - if you are lucky.
Looks like I will.be picking up The Crew Motorfest and WWE.
Midnight Suns, Sonic Frontiers, Persona 5 and One Piece Odyssey in my basket. help.
Also XIII but thats a guilty pleasure for £4.18
@FraserG The links are broken for the games. I click on them and get a message can't process your request.
@Tasuki Yeah, I'm not sure why that's happening. Bare with me and I'll get it fixed ASAP.
@FraserG Not a problem, wasn't sure if you were aware of it.
Anyone know if anyone is going to have the Memory expansion on sale in the US?
@Tasuki I’d like to know this too but for UK. I want the 1TB Seagate but at £150 it’s too much for me. If it was £100 then I’d think about it. Other than one being a SSD expansion card and the other being a portable hard drive, what’s the difference between them? Don’t they all do the same job?
Doesn’t look like I’ll be getting anything in this sale, Hogwarts Legacy £39 with 40% off is still too steep for me, needs to be at least £25 before I consider buying it.
@MaccaMUFC I'd take either the Seagate one or Western Digital, I am to the point where I can only have 1 or 2 Series X games installed on my Series X now.
@AlwaysPlaying played it and hated it 👍
It is very playable though, wasn't annoyed by any bugs or dips in performance. (PS5)
Trepang2 looks a solid pick reminds me of the F.E.A.R games
@AlwaysPlaying I enjoyed it although Dead Space Remake was better
@Tsushima if you like F.E.A.R, buy it
Control Ultimate Edition is, I think, £8 or so... been waiting for it to be reduced for a while.
The only thing on my wish list currently on sale is ghost trick. Hoping some of the others get added later
Ok I think I’m going with sekiro, control, and the Witcher 3 (I did buy bully already too)
I’ve just went through the whole list on my Xbox and there’s nothing at all that I want to buy. I think I may just get Arma Reforger as I’ve just finished the 4 hours I had left of the trial. It’s definitely a massive improvement from when it first launched. It’s out of game preview too with its 1.0 update.
I haven’t really kept up to date with the Black Friday deals in the past. Is there usually extra stuff added or price changes again for Cybre Monday?
@MaccaMUFC The SSD card is superior in that the input/output speeds are the same as the Xboxs internal storage. A external drive is more of a storage device and not to be played from…
@AlwaysPlaying Played it but not a fan of it; that said, I completed it on hardest setting so may be actual fun on a lower difficulty… otherwise, go for Dead Space remake!
Disappointingly, the venn diagram between games in this sale and games on my wishlist consists of two circles just barely touching.
@Zandy Normally it's all just the same on Cyber Monday.
@AlwaysPlaying I understand thanks for letting me know. I don’t see any SSD cards on sale so I’ll wait for the Cyber Monday sale, if it’s not on sale then either I’ll just buy Arma Reforger.
@Vordus Ha, I know what you mean.
Got F1 23 at 50% off yesterday thinking it wouldn't be cheaper anytime soon... Today, I see it at 60% off in the Black Friday deals. Man, I feel cheated...
US Amazon Customers- Physical copies of Resident Evil 4 Remake is $30 and Jedi Survivor is $34
Red dead redemption 2 all the way for those who don't have it, chusty deal.
@NintendoByNature
AC Mirage is 100% not worth it, just get an Ubisoft+ membership for a month and crank it out in a weekend if you really want to play it
@ZuneTattooGuy not a bad idea. Thanks
