This seems like great news - at least its moving in the right direction. Delay and keep working.

There has been a lot of talk of sony wanting to expand their fps offerings so this seems like a great move in that direction. The market also seems ripe for buy-outs at the moment which might be spurring more of these conversations.

Markets have blood in the streets, I guess they figure its a good time to scoop up acquisition deals.

The S will go down as one of the greatest consoles in the history of gaming.

I might play Broken Sword again - I grew up on adventure games and its been nice to play and replay them. As a big adventure game fan I am thrilled they are exposing more players to the genre.

Been playing my S pretty much exclusively the last 6 months so I am excited to play Horizon. Will jump back into the S with Elden Ring and wait for a sale with Dying Light (played 1 extensively and still a bit burned out but expect 2 to be great).

Great start to the gen by xbox - I absolutely love my series s + gamepass which has to be one of the greatest value sets in gaming history.

Bought and finished Deus Ex Human on b/c sale and now will buy and play Deus Ex Mankind on this sale. Nice back to back sales/ games.

This guy is gone - thanks to the upcoming buyout. Anyone that has criticized activision/ blizzard in the past for its intolerable work culture should be rejoicing

Obviously, the whole gaming community wants him to speak on exclusivity about a deal that is not yet finished. Once the deal is finished he can say they have decided to protect their massive investment by going exclusive.

Bobby needs to sit down and STFU until this deal is done and then apologetically resign and donate a massive stock amount to a charity that can slowly make right so many of his wrongs.

@somnambulance definitely understand your points but you may be underestimating the amount of games available to Xbox owners on gamepass - it instantly gives you a massive backlog to play if you have missed any great games over the last decade. I agree that we are yet to see the full power of the X console but play bc games at 60 fps while xbox studio games continue to get extra polish is a great trade-off

I am old school but I could never imagine paying someone to play twitter quidditch with my companies reputation.

I love my series s. I usually chase the highest end gaming set-up but found myself on the move a lot and I can take this everywhere and easily set it up and play anything I want (emulation to next gen). Combined with gamepass, its the perfect mini console to play anything, anywhere.

@Chaudy yep. At this point, I just consider these dates placeholders until the next delay. Cyberpunk still hurts though, so please delay as long as you need.

Great month coming up. Hopefully they all do well and end up being great games.

Looks like we will get a whirlwind of delayed games being released in the next 12-18 months - exciting times.

This is a complete WIN-WIN. Thank you for making Forza Horizon such an incredible franchise and now they have some more liberty to shake things up a bit to keep it new and fresh.

Having watched the Xbox documentary - using the dev mode for other things seemed like something that would be straight from their dna - give players power and freedom

Definitely my series S. Its light, portable, unlimited games with gamepass, very powerful and looks great. I have been thrilled with it.

Rare has done very well with SoT but has also put in a tremendous amount of work with constant patches, updates, seasonal activities, gameplay improvements, new features, reasonable prices for extras, etc.

Many of these AAA publishers think they can just throw together a gaas and make it work - it clearly takes a lot of hard work, resources and commitment.

The samurai looked cool and these do too. They are definitely walking a fine line with this but it will be entertaining to see how far it goes.

This game is supposed to launch in 10 months and we are still seeing only concept art? Those Biomes really are 16x the ...

Most people and most AAA gaming publishers don't really understand the best way to use the blockchain technology to enhance their games so they are just throwing things in. Eventually, NFTs will play an exciting role in creating gaming economies but the initial push will probably be dumb excuses to use the term.

@StylesT I love my Series S and play it 90% of the time but I played my ps4 for years and there is an epic catalogue of games there to dive into.

I really enjoy the QD games but announcing a game this early with a full CG trailer just asks for trouble - hopefully things work out

I am not sure if these types of awards matter to the team but they did a fantastic job and the game is loved by fans and new players alike.

They nailed the gameplay - just need to figure out the best way to improve upon their F2P model. I am sure it will get fixed.

I had the option between an S or an X but went with the S for both the price and the small size (I have to travel often and take it with me easily). If I had an OLED I would have gone with the X but I have been thrilled with the S.

I really enjoyed Psychonauts 2 but my favorite Double Fine game is still Grim Fandango.

I finally saw a spartan that was breathtakingly cool - I have no idea how much playing time it took or how much money was spent but it looked fantastic. I am not one to care much about cosmetics but this particular spartan was stunning.

Its clear that AAA publishers do not hold themselves to reasonable standards when it comes to releasing games - it is all about the financial incentives and bottom line. The only thing they respond to are these massive complaints. RockStar KNEW the state of this game, held the review embargo, delisted original games and charged nearly full price and were FINE with it. It took a massive outcry for them to now say the game does not meet their standards - amazing how that works.
