@Feffster game pass needs more shooters for sure. i thought flintlock was a shooter but its just another hack n slash really.

i really like zombie games but for some reason the dead rising games don't do it for me.

c. protocol, still wakes the deep have really good graphics but robin hood is more my type of game its just a bad port to console.

xbox streaming, now with even more lag for 30 fps games.

ok it downloaded before i went to stop it and i played it. its kinda like a slow motion blurry 30fps but game mode on my tv helps. i think it would be a fun game with 60 fps mode or if i had 30 fps eyes.

30 fps is outdated like black n white tvs.

@101Force i don't think publishers will go "streaming only" by the ps7 launch. if they do, i would be wishing atari makes a 100% offline console with old delisted games on disks.

just remember there are 8 billion people and counting. its gonna be a while before fast enough internet is wide spread i would think.

"the high point" was at the very start of this gen and ark survival running/looking much better than the xbox one version. also xbox future looked bright!......

then it dimmed quite a bit. still i find it much better than what playstation has to offer me. i think things are in motion that will kill off most 3rd party xbox support which will lead me to ps6.

@Romans12 this is what im worried about for next gen, xbox missing out on more and more 3rd party games.

@Realist go ahead and list the console exclusives for ps5 and switch. i bet there is nothing on either that will make me want to buy the consoles.

@OldGamer999 i have money set aside for a ps5 but there hasn't been any game i want over there. nothing. xbox has several. i may go ps6 if the xbox games i want go there.

on topic, i tried the performance mods for series s and x. im happy with modded starfield on x, the s not so much but i don't have the vrr monitor.

@MrMagic xbox counts it. im a little over 250 hours and 4,089 enemies killed with 4,358,093 damage inflicted. i guess i play a little slower and talk to everyone on the first play for sure.

you saying 26 hours for a playthrough? first time was more like 50 hours for me.

i have no interest in child cartoon games like this either.

@MrMagic they say avowed will be as long as outer worlds, im close to the 300 hour mark in outer worlds. something about it just keeps me playing it over and over. hope the same happens with avowed.

most excited for avowed based on how much i like outer worlds and stalker 2 cause its close(i hope). atomfall is a nice surprise.

i think bethesda and todd have ran their course. joke is on microsoft. i have much more respect for obsidian. and that atomfall game, i hope its fallout like and decent. story and characters are important in these games, not base/ship building.

so my tv isn't 120hz and this is still choppy or blurry for the most part on series s for me. i love how i never heard of 120hz and frame rates until after i bought my tv.

some of these mods should help on my series x im guessing?

i wanted to like stranded deep but the frame rate killed it.

we really need a documentary series about game developers before a.i. replaces them.

@Blaa i know, it was so fun to me. thats 12k over the years. thats mostly at a very janky 15 to 20 fps on og xbox one. im cross eyed now and hate any game that isn't 60 fps on series consoles.
