We're only just hitting the middle of the month for June's Xbox Game Pass additions, but as usual, we're starting to take a look at what's ahead for July as well. And it's good news - there's a lot confirmed for next month already!
Some of the highlights here include day one releases for Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, Dungeons Of Hinterberg and Capcom's Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, while Frostpunk 2 is also coming to PC Game Pass at launch.
We're expecting plenty more Xbox Game Pass announcements for July 2024 in the weeks ahead, but for now, here's more information on each of these six confirmed Game Pass titles for next month:
Flock (July 16)
Flock is a multiplayer co-op game about the joy of flight and collecting adorable flying creatures with your friends. Soar through beautiful landscapes, seeking out rare and elusive creatures to add to your flock.
Magical Delicacy (July 16)
A wholesome pixel art platformer. Cook magical delicacies from a vast collection of ingredients in your own shop. Explore an unfamiliar town and deliver tasty treats to the townsfolk. Learn new ways to traverse, discover secrets, and experience a unique witchy world.
Dungeons Of Hinterberg (July 18)
Armed with a sword and a tourist guide, explore the beautiful alpine village of Hinterberg and uncover the magic hidden within its dungeons! Master magic, solve puzzles, slay monsters; all this and more await you in Hinterberg!
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (July 18)
From games studio A44, makers of Ashen, comes an explosive Souls-lite, where Gods and guns collide in a battle for the future of humanity.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (July 19)
A new tale of the Kami awaits... Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a unique Japanese-inspired, single player Kagura Action Strategy game.
Frostpunk 2 for PC (July 25)
Discover a city-survival game set 30 years after an apocalyptic blizzard ravaged Earth, transforming our world into a harsh, icy wasteland. In Frostpunk 2, you must face a new deadly threat that appears on the horizon – human nature and its unsatiated thirst for power.
Don't forget that before July rolls around, we've still got the day one arrival of Still Wakes The Deep to come in the second half of this month, along with whatever else Microsoft has in store for us - hopefully we'll find out soon!

@rustyduck Are you really that afraid of colour?
Hinterberg is the big one for me, but all of them look good. I want to try them all except the multiplayer one. BUT ima probably still be busy with Octopath traveler 2! If not SMT V
What happened with the Game Pass family plan? That’s what I want to know at this point.
Oh, man. I thought Flintlock was June not July.
I'll have more time to clear some of that backlog.
Man, my Playstation is just collecting dust.
I'll definitely play flintlock next month it's looks good fun but anyone what exactly is souls-lite all about was lies of p that or that crab game I don't get it?🤷🧑🌾
Avowed didn't even get a date (minus a accidental one on their website which could still be a placeholder and has since been removed). Fable barely got anything new. Perfect Dark at least got showed I guess. Cool for Flintlock I guess I'ma try it. But dang Xbox is slow AF are they just not supporting their studios or what? Obsidian made NV in less time than it took for FO3. Yes dev cycles are longer but I expect this to be a pretty short game. Either as long or shorter then OW. I mean Ninja Theory is a legendary developer and look at HB2. Short AF and took 5 years to make... I will chalk some of that up to learning and leveraging UE5 but still something needs to change.
I rather graphics get toned back and they focus on shorter cycles, better AI, complex systems ect. Just fun games again instead of this nonsense. To many games already hitting 5 years with no official dates or even showcases.
But I am happy everyone else is happy I guess lol.
@Fragslayer This is only July’s games. All of the following first party games are confirmed for 2024:
Ara: History Untold 9/25
CoD Black Ops 6 10/25
Microsoft Simulator 2024 11/29
Avowed (2024, likely on the 11/12 leaked date)
Towerborne 2024
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle 2024
Also have many other games confirmed for GamePass like Stalker 2, which is a timed exclusive, on 9/5.
That isn’t Capcom’s sheep’s masterpiece!
#Notmyflock
meh nothing interesting
@Fragslayer a.i. will replace lazy devs who always want more money and cause development cost to soar.
I am very excited for Flintlock and I think Kunitsu-Gami looks interesting. I can’t wait for Frostpunk 2 to reach console. The first was really good although maybe a tad too difficult.
I'm hoping Frostpunk 2 on Xbox doesn't take too long
Another poor start to the month. July now. Where are all the games from all the studios? A good showcase maybe………. yet we’re STILL WAITING for them on gamepass. Almost 4 years of next to nothing
@rustyduck I’m sure most of those “Nintendo’s child games” will score more than Ark’s 69… the game you just said you put 12,000 hours into. We all like different things 👍
@themightyant yes the childs like the child games.
Solid month so far for me, lots of variety. Flintlock and DoH have been on the radar for a while.
Nice to see a good selection of Indies on there too
