Up for another horror adventure on Xbox Series X|S in 2024? Well, Saber Interactive and Stormind Games have partnered up to adapt movie series 'A Quiet Place' into video game format - with the "narrative-driven horror game" A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead coming to Xbox later this year.
We don't have a date yet, but looking at early screenshots and footage this one does seem quite far along, so we'd expect it to actually make late 2024 at this stage. Anyway, here's some more on what you can expect from this "A Quite Place" Xbox adventure:
"Capturing the frantic terror, unnerving atmosphere and gripping human drama that made the franchise famous, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is designed for fans of the films, horror games, and story-driven adventures alike.
Experience the journey of a young woman struggling to endure not only the nightmarish creatures of the apocalypse, but also the anguish of interpersonal family conflicts and her own inner fears. With nothing more than your wits and the simple tools you can scavenge, you’ll have to overcome the many treacherous challenges and obstacles that lay ahead, all while trying to survive an ever-present threat of the unknown enemies."
We quite like the film series so we are looking forward to The Road Ahead, however it's probably worth tempering expectations a little bit. This is from the team behind the Remothered games, and it likely won't be a huge AAA title; just something to bear in mind going in.
We'll drop some early screenshots from A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead down below:
