Re: The FTC Is Continuing To Fight Xbox's Activision Blizzard Deal

It is at the point where the American people need to ask why the FTC is continuing to sink so much time and taxpayer money into fighting this deal when they apparently have no issues with far bigger deals that monopolize mass media and communications services, not to mention the big deals with consumer staples that could monopolize those markets, which should be far more concerning for a government agency. I don't think people are going to starve or miss out on vital services because Microsoft bought a video game publisher. This should not be a priority for them.

Re: Poll: Which Has Been The Best Generation Of Xbox So Far?

No joke I'll be the odd man out and say Xbox One. I honestly think it's the most under-appreciated console I can think of. I always loved the HDMI pass-through capability, the One X was a fantastic upgrade console, and it introduced a lot of great things like the enhanced backwards compatible games. It was also by far the best 4K console in the early days of 4K, and it delivered IMO the best era of Forza games. Basically so many things that I still love about Xbox to this day, and I still have a One X hooked up to my primary gaming TV thanks to it's pass-through and X enhanced games.

Re: Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 Is 'Anything But Masterful', Says Digital Foundry

There is a good reason why I didn't bother with this. I already have the original HD collection on my Xbox One and this honestly presents very little to desire over that. Like just a moderate improvement here and there, and since I also got Peace Walker I am not really missing out on anything either. Got the original MGS and VR missions on my old PS3 and retro handhelds as well, and considering how that's no remake I have no idea why I would buy this.

Re: Reaction: Forza Motorsport Should Be Feeling The Pressure After New Gran Turismo 7 Update

@NeutronBomb I think the biggest loss for me with the latest FM is the loss of the ability to easily upgrade any car and go racing with it fully customized just how I want it. When they turned car upgrading into a time consuming grind, where I can't build my ideal version of a car until I have driven it for hours on end, it's simply not fun for me anymore. Heck even the points system for upgrades ruins it, because I can't just do what I want. All the restrictions to car building makes this Forza simply not feel like the Forza games I knew and loved.

When it comes to racing simulators where I can't modify my car, I have no shortage of better or more entertaining games to play. Car modifying has always been the thing that gave Forza an edge for me all these years. They messed with the one thing they shouldn't have messed with, trying to fix something that wasn't broken which broke the experience for me.

@GeeEssEff Problem with critics is how often they will promote games they're paid to promote, and join in bandwagons praising or being critical of certain games. They're not much different from fanboys really.

I mean if I went strictly off what critics and metacritic has to say, I would have missed out on a lot of my favorite games and bought a lot of games I really wouldn't like.
