We've got a date and a time for the first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer! Rockstar Games has confirmed today that it will premiere on Tuesday, December 5th at 9am ET, which converts to 6am PT, 2pm GMT and 3pm CET.
The news was revealed in a social media post by Rockstar Games earlier today:
We still don't know anything else about the trailer just yet, including whether the game will be called "Grand Theft Auto VI" or something entirely different, but at least we've only got a few days left until we get some answers!
This obviously means the GTA 6 trailer won't debut as part of The Game Awards 2023 as we'd initially anticipated. Rest assured we'll be keeping a close eye out on Tuesday for the trailer and will be sharing it as soon as it goes live!

December 5th? Well…. RIP internet. GTA 6 is going to break it.
Awesome. I'm guessing the game comes out Spring 2024. It's been five years since their last game. Let's get it done guys.
If its mainly a single player game like gta 5 and red dead redemption 2 I'm in if it's mostly multiplayer and live serivce no thanks I'm going no where near it I hate all that rubbish. For me gta 5 and red dead 2 are 2 of the best games ever made but the rockstar of old are gone now we will soon see?
I’m not surprised the trailer isn’t being shown at the TGA since R* have always revealed their games in their own time and on their own terms, they have never needed a platform like TGA to reveal their games to the masses. You just know R* are going to draw in millions of more viewers on Tuesday than the TGA could ever dream of achieving on Thursday.
Going by the name of ‘Trailer 1’ I think we’ll have to assume we won’t be getting a release date as the name suggests that there’s going to be more trailers revealed. I doubt the game will be coming out until September at the earliest. Either way I can’t wait for Tuesday 2pm, hope the trailer reveals a lot of details and not just a quick 2 minute sneak peek.
It's been about a decade since GTAV, crazy how it takes them that long to even release a new trailer for a new entry, so expectations will be sky high.
