Well that took a while. I played this on Switch for a while, but it was lacking polish. Willing to get back into it on Xbox though if it's much improved.

@nomither6 Yeah Xbox controllers have basically become the standard for PC gaming. Yeah you can use a PS controller, but most PC games are designed with the Xbox controller in mind, and Xbox controllers have native compatibility with Windows, everything just works. They are definitely sold to a wider audience than just Xbox consoles.

@Secryt It's "childish to imagine pricing would stay the same forever" is a ridiculous statement to make when there has already been recent price hikes. This is just entertainment after all, you can only increase the price so much until people think it isn't worth it.

The industry really needs to cool it on these service price hikes, it's already at the point where they're getting hard to justify. Any more expensive and you might as well just use that money to buy games and actually own them.

They basically killed this game with a combination of making it overpriced, broken upon release, and lacking crossplay.

Definitely not for me.

I'd say it's a lot more like the first two Flatout games than Wreckfest, if you played them and note the differences. I really enjoyed it on PC for what it is, and Xbox seems like a better place to play it.

Amazing how the FTC is still trying to waste time and resources fighting this. It's done, over, time to put their pride aside, admit defeat, and focus on something more important.

To be honest the Xbox One's backwards compatibility was so good that it completely replaced the need for my old Xbox One consoles. With the Series X only adding to that it has been easy for me to retire my old 360's.

I loved Sniper Elite 5. Great stealth action game.

@PapaGlitch Walmart is pretty far from just being a supermarket, in the US at least it's probably Amazon's #1 competitor.

Hate it when they only have these deals for new subscribers.

I think the only time I preferred long games was when I was a teenager and had all day to just play games. Now a days I just never seem to have the time to get through big long epics. The only games I put a ton of time into are the kind of games I can just keep chipping away at and playing whenever I am in the mood such as racing and sports titles.

Been playing Trail Out on PC for a while now, it's a very fun Burnout/Flatout-esque racing game.

The gaming industry sure isn't what it used to be. I remember when the top 10 was dominated by new releases. Says a lot about the type of games people want to play today, as well as the pace of popular releases among the general public. So much in the way of new hype seems to revolve around games only the hardcore gamer community is into.

@JoakimZ Same. No point in buying any more controllers until the new one releases.

It's just a worse version of what I already have.

This is a good example of the type of game I would never want to play.

Now that's cool, would love to have that vault. The console is nice as well.

I didn't think much of it, kind of a weird game that didn't do much for me or really make me want to keep playing.

I wasn't really impressed by their game to be honest, so not that surprised.

I can't justify the space this game takes up. 2K19 was the last good one.

I was wondering when the console versions would release, it's been TBA for a long time.

Sounds like going backwards. I have zero interest in that.

I usually like driving games but driving the speed limit and obeying all the traffic laws in an EV taxi doesn't sound like fun.

My nephews would love this, they're obsessed with that show.

This is definitely one of those super limited deals with absurd pricing for the collectors who actually care about it. Honestly, probably hard to lose money on the second hand market, but I doubt I would want to bother with this because I still gotta spend $700 on a Series X.

Blocking some commenters in this comments section. Political extremists exposing themselves, no thanks, I want nothing to do with them.

For me it's all about the games really. Like with the Dark Forces remaster, it was very much needed IMO and greatly enhances the experience of trying to play that game. As with something like Brothers however, it's easy for me to skip as I don't really think it's that necessary nor do I consider the game the kind of classic I would want to play again with a remastering.

I hope this delivers, I loved the first two TDU titles.

Sounds like they just want to go back to being a legitimate studio that isn't simply ordered to do work for the latest COD.

This definitely comes off as one of those times when a company is desperate to find any way they can to put a positive spin on something.

This seems like a cool game but I'd rather get it on PC, definitely the kind of game I'd play on PC.

@GuyinPA75 Physical or digital makes absolutely no difference in this situation. If you own a disc for The Crew it's going to be a frisbee or drink coaster when the service goes down.
