8BitDo Is Bringing The 'Greatest Six-Button Controller Ever Made' To Xbox

We've got another new Xbox controller from 8BitDo coming to market! This is known as the "8BitDo M30 Wired Controller", and it's officially licensed by Microsoft. Pre-orders begin today with a release date of December 22nd, 2023.

As you can see, it quite closely resembles the six-button variants of the old SEGA Mega Drive / SEGA Genesis controllers, and 8BitDo says the M30 is particularly built for "fighting games and other classics".

In fact, this is being marketed as "the great six-button controller ever made", so there's a lot of confidence going into it! The controller features a USB-C wired connection that's "virtually lag-free", along with a dedicated profile switch button that allows you to switch between three different profiles - plus support for the 8BitDo Ultimate Software.
