Microsoft are not a charity and 343 haven't performed to acceptable standards for the huge investment of money.

Hopefully now they can finally be removed from Halo let a competent studio work on it. At this point it's the only way to save the Halo franchise as it's been poor since Bungie left.

343 should be given one last chance on their own IP to redeem themselves. If this fails close the studio.

Not interested in these as can't stand turn based fighting and they are ancient games now.

Will deffo be playing Monster Hunter Rise instead after I've finished my current game.

343 are a badly managed studio and have performed badly ruining the Halo franchise. Never been the same since they butchered it. I say take them off Halo and let them come up with an original IP maybe they can redeem themselves.

It sucks when people loose their jobs but Microsoft is a business not a charity. I'm sure they will find alternative employment soon plenty of studios in gaming looking for staff.

Destruction AllStars was a big flop so reckon Sony cut all ties with them. As at one point I thought that Sony was going to buy them.

Maybe if this partnership works out M$ might aquire them instead. Hopefully means Everwild won't still be many years away.

Think I will have to buy Hard Reset redux at that bargain bin price. Haven't heard of it before but looks good from gameplay videos.

I'm sure more games will be announced then. Shame that it's right at the end of the month as haven't had as many games as usual this month and December wasn't very good either.

@Jaxx420 That's not what they said and did mention gaming. In fact there is no 8k content at all so yes they are both liars.

Didn't both Microsoft and Sony make false claims of the Series X/PS5 being capable of 8k. Both are liars probably a couple of generations away.

I do have a 8k TV but hate PC so guess it's 4k hopefully at 60FPS. This game looks good but not into souls games but will try it.

@Thwomp_Stomper I will give it a try then dropped MH World as you can't play it properly solo.
I will probably just not bother with higher rank monsters then.

Not a surprise they were asking for too much money for a short linear 8 hour game. Simply not worth the money I would expect at least 20 hours of quality content for the price.

Advertised as a horror but it's not scary at all. Maybe worth £10 in a deep sale.

Looks dreadful should have been cancelled not delayed. When out it will be half price in a few months. You can see why Ubisoft are in trouble if this is the best they can release.

Hopefully I will still be able to game share to one other console. Me and my friend share Game Pass and won't be happy if removed so they can charge extra.

I let them use my Game Pass for free and I use their PS+P for free it saves us loads of money.

Why moan about Game Pass after taking money to be on it. Hope they never get to go on it again ungrateful cretins.

I would rather Game Pass had more bigger games I haven't subscribed to Indie Pass. Majority of indies available are trash with some good ones. Microsoft will obviously spend on what is more popular to increase subscriptions no doubt on it.

@Balta666 The series X/PS5 were sold on doing 4k at 60FPS but they conveniently missed out that for most games it was one or the other. Also don't get me started on the claims of 8K lol.

Morale at the studios must be extremely low having everything cancelled, wasting years of time for nothing. I wouldn't be surprised to see them loose staff and sell Ubisoft (hopefully to Microsoft).

Ubisoft needs to sort itself out and make some original games not the same franchises. People are bored of the same cut and paste games which is why they are failing.

I hope to get some more information on Hellblade 2 as they showed gameplay footage ages ago. Maybe it gets released at the end of the year.

Out of the confirmed announcements only interested in RedFall depends on
how well it is as a single player game.

Their games are not doing well as people have gotten fed up with the cut and paste open world style stuffed with 'Micro' transactions. What happened to the more original games they made a big mistake to only do a few series with the same mechanics.

As for Skull & Bones it has never looked any good and clearly suffering development hell like the Prince of Persia remake and Beyond good and Evil 2. I wouldn't be surprised if Ubisoft will be the next publisher to be sold as they are clearly struggling.

I only buy digital on Xbox my main platform but the day one prices should be lower than physical. They don't have to print discs, distribution costs or give a cut to third party retailers. They should give more rewards points to make up for it as an option.

Sony always physical usually second hand so they don't get any money directly for me.

Considering it's the digital age no surprise that most buy digital games.

It's a brilliant game after they fixed the bugs. Looking forward to Phantom Liberty hoping it's as good as the Witcher DLC.

In future they should only show stuff that's actually been finished so they don't put so much pressure on themselves. This avoids releasing a rushed and broken game.

@FraserG I know but seems weird to ask people when they haven't actually played the games. That doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to some games but I no longer get hyped knowing how badly games can turn out.

No guarantee that these games won't get delayed into next year, hopefully Microsoft can finally deliver. It's the last chance for me fed up with being let down.

How are people supposed to say if they haven't actually played a game. You're only setting yourself up for disappointment when games don't live up to unreasonable expectations.

All I care about is that Microsoft actually gets some decent first party games out as that would be a start. No more excuses.

Time for another Game Pass announcement Microsoft people are starting to worry with the lack of communication. It's as if they have nothing to offer.

Played Shadow Warrior 3 on PS+ and was a huge letdown nothing like the first two games. Wasn't Diofield Chronicle leaked and supposed to be on Game Pass but haven't heard anything since.

Why haven't Microsoft announced the Game Pass games yet. They normally have by now and have been very silent.

Resident Evil Village the third person mode feels tacked on and poorly done, obviously to extort more money when it should be free. Swiftly put back in first person as the game has clearly been designed for this and is a much better experience.

Makes no sense not to have first person in the Shadows of Rose DLC when the main game is first person.

Good game but not sure on them moving away from the zombies might just stick with the remakes.

You can buy the physical Xbox One game of the year edition for much cheaper. The current gen upgrade is free to download anyway.

Really don't see the point in this as all you are paying extra for is to have X/S logo on the case.

Really wish he would stop praising Sony at every opportunity and concentrate on Xbox. We have been waiting long enough for exclusive games.

Why should it be praised anyway Sony should have made an accessibility controller years ago like Microsoft. Sony didn't offer any praise to Microsoft for it either.

I hope Microsoft don't use all these delays with the deal as an excuse for having no games.

If the CMA rejects I hope Microsoft will cancel and use the money for the studios they have. They seem to suffer from poor management and need some support.

The Saints Row reboot will be the gravestone for the series. Complete and utter garbage wouldn't play even for free.

I wish that they would offer demo's for upcoming games and not old ones that nobody is interested in.

Hopefully this means that they won't ship out half a game like 3 remake. It was clearly a rushed job.

I will be waiting for reviews for 4 remake to make sure it's been done right and content hasn't been gutted before I waste money.

Not really a fan of indies if I'm honest prefer games to push the hardware I've spent good money on.

1. Stalker 2
2. Hogwarts
3. Resident Evil 4
4. Diablo 4
5. Starfield

I'm still expecting delays for some games. I didn't know that Pragmata was coming to Game Pass.

Started Elden Ring brought on disc glad I did as not for me I will be swiftly selling on. It seems okay but not enjoying the combat still very difficult without any accessibility options. Admittedly I'm also missing the map markers as I prefer to know what I'm doing. Has no real story to follow so gets boring.

In my opinion an overrated game but I was never into souls games and this has confirmed to avoid anything by FromSoftware. Only tried due to it winning game of the year.

Nothing else to play so will wait until Persona 3/4 and Monster Hunter: Rise. Hopefully something else takes my fancy before.

It's obvious they are deliberately making it worse so they cat shut it down. They want to offer the add supported Game Pass instead. They even tried to raise the price of Gold and they had a riot on their hands, so forced to backtrack.

This will mean no cheap conversion of Gold to ultimate Game Pass which will suck. I can live without as they still have rewards points. Understandable that they can't keep giving everything for nothing.

Another couple of games that I won't add. Some of us have standards I would be embarrassed if someone saw these.

Gets worse every month they don't even offer stuff people have actually heard of. They need to cancel Gold as PS+ is embarrassing them every month as they offer games that people want to play.

Xbox management should be ashamed with the extremely poor value of Gold. Literally no point in having it.

If they can update this why can't they do the same for Red Dead Redemption 2 for the current generation. I wouldn't mind a remaster/remake of the original game either. Better games than GTA.

They only seem to bothered about milking GTA V for another 10 years. Getting boring now.

They should also do 5 and 6 as it gives them a chance to fix the story etc.

I will believe it when I see it I've lost confidence and trust in the Microsoft management. Nobody wants another year of excuses.

I certainly don't want to see Phil and co praising Sony exclusives while haven't nothing to show themselves.

This year will be the last chance for me as fed up with waiting.

I have brought 3 games on Xbox this year but paid nothing as used rewards points. I have also pre ordered Hogwarts deluxe with rewards points.

I have both Game Pass and PS+P and they offer loads. I only buy 1-2 games a year on PS also. No need to spend loads of money on gaming, wouldn't be cheap if you're paying £70 a game.

All digital on Xbox and physical only on PS5 when I get anything.

Today finishing the last chapter of The Council on PS+ as it's being removed soon. It's really good if you're into games with choices and consequences.

Then probably nothing for a week I have no backlog and Xbox haven't even announced anything for the second half of December. A bit disappointed with Game Pass this month if I'm honest.

Just proves how anti consumer Sony is and I'm not happy with Square Enix either. I still think Sony are buying them that's why Square Enix sold the studios Sony didn't want to Embracer. They are waiting for the Activision Blizzard deal first so they can still try and block.

They should have been honest from the start it's quite obvious these games will never go on Xbox. Looking like I made the right choice to buy Final Fantasy XVI on PS5 instead of waiting.

@stvevan Sony can't afford to buy ABK so wouldn't ever happen. We all know that they would make COD exclusive.

Sony/Jim Ryan are the only ones moaning about the deal.

Hopefully this proves that Sony are the only ones trying to block the deal and their shady anti consumer deals are called out.

Microsoft have already been fair offering COD for 10 years on every platform. Sony will hopefully regret not accepting and hope they get punished for it.

More favorable then what I was expecting to be honest which is a good sign. Hopefully the CMA will use common sense and let it go through. Jim Ryan however has been crying and saying all sorts of rubbish to them, so who knows.

Not long to find out the outcome don't want to wait for another court case and lawsuit.
