Just when we thought this week's 'Last Chance' sale would end up being the final major promotion for a good while, Xbox is now offering up a new 'buy one, get one free' sale focusing on recent EA releases.
We spotted this one late last night here in the UK, with the promotion now live through the weekend and wrapping up on Monday, January 9th. It doesn't include every major EA title, but recent releases like Need for Speed Unbound, FIFA 23 and Madden NFL 23 all feature.
Oddly enough, some of these games are actually discounted on their own right now as part of the aforementioned Last Chance sale, so this seems an odd time to run the promotion. Sadly, you cannot combine promos by getting buy one, get one free offers on already discounted titles.
Last month, Xbox delivered a Ubisoft edition of this very sale, and we're now left wondering if this is going to be monthly thing featuring a different batch of games each time the promo is live. We'll find out in February!
Are you tempted to take advantage of this Xbox promotion? Let us know what you think of the selection down below.

Still not worth it as the games are full price and works out more expensive then if brought in a sale. Very poor so called sale.
I always just wait for EA games to go on Game Pass so they never get a penny from me.
For suckers only. More expensive that a sale that happens every few weeks on most of these games.
@Sebatrox That's been my mantra with all EA games since the start of EA Play.
You had me until I saw "EA" in the title.
When I first saw the Ubisoft sale I thought it was good deal, until I was informed by a fellow user this was a rouse to charge more for games! This is an ugly trend, no doubt others will follow suit.
Sports games are the worst investment one can make. As soon as the season or next game comes out, the drop pennies to the dollar. Not to mention graphically and mechanically not much if anything changes.
The problem is finding two games worth buying.
If it worked on NFS Unbound and Deadspace, then maybe. Couldn't care less about sports s-t. 💩
EA must be on crack if they think I'm paying £79 or £89 for any game, holy sh*t, especially not a FIFA game! (Special Edition or not) This deal is no way a bargain, it just puts the price down to what some of these games SHOULD cost anyway.
And as someone new to the Need For Speed franchise (played them for the first time on Gamepass) I found Hot Pursuit Remastered WAY more enjoyable than Unbound. And the music/dialogue in the latter made me want to rip my ears off.
