Yesterday, we were treated to the announcement of an Xbox "Developer_Direct" event for late January, which promised "big features" and "extended gameplay showcases" for games coming out in the next few months.
As mentioned in our Talking Point, we hoped and assumed that we also might get release dates for certain games as part of the livestream, and according to the German version of the official announcement, that is indeed the case.
Here's what the Xbox Wire website in Germany had to say about it (via Google Translate):
"Look forward to exclusive insights presented by the developers of Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios and ZeniMax Online Studios. The Developer_Direct will focus on fantastic features, rich gameplay showcases and first-time shared release dates for great Xbox titles coming in the coming months, including The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and Redfall."
As suggested above, this could mean we'll finally get official dates for the likes of Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and Redfall, and we're also hoping we might find out about upcoming dates for other games like GoldenEye 007 and even Warhammer 40k: Darktide, although perhaps they'll be saved for a later date.
Whatever happens, you'll be able to check out the complete 45-minute event with us here live at Pure Xbox, and we'll obviously be providing plenty of reaction immediately following its conclusion. Is it January 25th yet...?
What release dates do you think we'll get at the event? Let us know down in the comments below.

I mean...of course? I thought this was expected.
Game are supposed to be out in next 6 months. There is no way they are not showing release dates.
I hope to get some more information on Hellblade 2 as they showed gameplay footage ages ago. Maybe it gets released at the end of the year.
Out of the confirmed announcements only interested in RedFall depends on
how well it is as a single player game.
So you're announcing that a game showcase will announce release dates...lmao.
At this point they need to. A logical person (not even smart) would know they need to start giving dates after 2022.
@Cyberpsycho i wanna believe E3 will be the next time we learn a lot more on HellBlade 2. But i could be wrong, but that game would be a great holiday 2023 title.
