I have to say, the homescreen is a lot more pleasant without all the ads and unwanted suggestions!!

I play about 10 MP matches a week.
It’s the only thing I play with any regularity.

It's come a LONG way since release. Multiplayer was so broken I didn't touch it for years and honestly forgot about it. But they've got it in a great state now.
I started playing at Halo 4 originally, so I'll drop in occasionally for some Halo 4 swat, which is always fun.
It illustrates just how far multiplayer has come though. The MP game play in Infinite is so much better, but the H4 maps were awesome and had great sci-fi settings.

I liked season one but I'll wait for it to hit prime or YouTube again so I don't have to pay more to see it.
For those who haven't seen it I'd say give it a shot. Worst case you don't like it and stop watching.

I had no interest but checked it out since it was free.
I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it.
And Kai was great, a character you really rooted for.

I got a used 360 to play Halo 3 which never grabbed me. I did put over 500 hours into halo 4 and over 600 into halo 5 multilayer so it all worked out 😆

Finally....an easy way to get to the store!
I don't like they way MS interleaves my stuff with theirs but as others have noted, navigation is super easy.
If you're willing to learn it, Xbox has far and away the best console navigation I've seen.
The one thing I absolutely can't stand is the Netflix-like categories as an excuse to push more games at me.

Persona 5R and Halo Infinite MP

I’ll take a rotating group of 25 quality games over 2 crappy ones a month any day of the week.
I can’t remember the last time I actually claimed a gwg game.

I picked up Persona 5R even though I’m half way through it on PS4. The quick resume makes it a lot easier to play for a few minutes at a time or just stop when it’s getting late.
I may pick up a COD game for the zombie mode.

This is good news. Certainly brightened the mood a bit here today.

@Somebody - I couldn't agree more about the rechargeable AAs.
I drop like $12 for 8 every generation and never have a dead controller.
I just shake my head when I see people recommending a second PS controller or a long usb cable to charge it while you play because you only get 4-6 hours out of it.

This looks good except for the fact that we just got the option to have a solid color background that didn't show game art when you stopped on a tile.

I'll check it out eventually just for the location.

I've only played the Resident Evil HD remaster from this list. I couldn't get into it.
I'm having a good time with Revelations though but I've been stuck on a boss for a while.

@BRT15 that's a fun one. I have yet to play more than five minutes without it devolving into a shootout with the whole sheriff's department
The downside is I haven't gotten far.

@Cikajovazmaj That's true about ray tracing, but that line was more about a general gripe I have w/ them that made me lose interest in their videos.

I've been chipping away at the 360 version on BC for a while. It looks good enough for me to not be tempted by the remake.

I couldn't care less about ray tracing.
Digital Foundry nitpicks things that most people will never notice.
When you're zooming in to see a graphical difference, it doesn't really matter.

I wouldn't mind if they knocked $60 off the Series X.

Looking forward to Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox this year.

Halo 5 & Infinite MP and Tales of Zestiria.

Auto HDR, FPS boost and quick resume are my favorite things. Being able to suspend a game instead of grinding to a save point makes playing a lot more pleasant.
The controller improvements are nice too.

Bring the Halo 4 maps to infinite. I would love to play Adrift, Complex and Panic Station swat again.

Nier automata, Resident Evil Revelations and P5R on series S.
I have to echo the praise for quick resume. There have been plenty of times where I've had to play 45 minutes past what I wanted to on PS4 just to hit a save point for P5R. It'll work for nier automata too, which makes me happy.
I'm also eyeing Trails of Cold Steel on the PS4 November sale.

I played a lot of Atari 2600 when I was younger and got some good high scores, but they weren't games w/ endings.
I think I got like 112k on Seaquest. That was the highest I ever got. I loved that game.

How about they scrap it and build more maps and modes for Halo 5 multiplayer???
I connected my external storage today and was surprised to see Infinite was there. That'll be an easy 22gb to reclaim when I need it!!

I did not see the Persona games coming to xbox anytime soon, so that was great. I'm like 54 hours into P5R, which was my reason for buying a PS4 last year. I'll make the call about starting over in October. P3 and P4 are day ones for me though. I love the idea of playing good JRPGs on xbox.
Overwatch 2 looks cool too.
Edit: I suspect the novelty of P5R on xbox will win out in Oct.

I've been impressed with how good KOTOR and Red Dead Redemption look and play on the series S.
I picked up KOTOR on the switch and it doesn't look nearly as good.

I bought a PS4 just to play P5R. It would be great if it came to xbox or PC, but I'm not starting over at this point.

Well put. It's a series of sugar highs tacked onto a game that's not as good as its predecessors.

I have far more than I'll ever want to play.
I've had the same feeling too, that something that was supposed to be for leisure now feels like a burden. I've taken to putting consoles away for a while and taking them out when I want to use them.

I've peaked at gold in my 1000+ hours with 4 & 5. I may have hit diamond for a day in 5. What a day that was!

This looks great but I tend to go switch for these types of games. I'll wait and see how they run before deciding, but realistically they should run well on switch.
