One of the things we most look forward to every Christmas is seeing the reactions from new Xbox owners who have just received their very first Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles, and 2023 definitely hasn't disappointed us!
Over the past few days, various wholesome videos have been shared on social media - a few of which have been recirculated by Xbox's VP of Games Marketing, Aaron Greenberg. Here's a look at some of our favourites so far!
With the Xbox Series X and Series S having been on sale during the Black Friday and pre-Christmas periods, both consoles have been cheaper to acquire in recent weeks, with the Series S dropping to as low as £209.99 / $239.99.

I remember that feeling. That’s so great to see kids really happy about their Christmas presents. I love wholesome gaming videos like this. To be so early in a gaming journey again… They’ll no doubt be having many incredible adventures!

We are still selling £369.99 for series x in the shops In UK. Was supposed to end after 25/12/23.
Wonder if this maybe a new price point from now on.
We are definitely selling more at this price point over the last two weeks and yesterday.
It’s a good tactic as some get Christmas money or store vouchers to spend as Christmas presents.
Although times change, but the awesome epic excitement of ripping off that wrapping paper and finding a new games console underneath remains constant ☺️👍🏻
