Maybe it's different over in the States but in the UK, energy bills have shot through the roof due to various reasons and that was the even before Russia started playing silly buggers with their pipeline which has only exacerbated the issue.

I don't think I'd use an option like this but I thought I would provide some context to the reasons why MS may be investigating it.

Ooo I didn't know you gave Immortality a 10.

The other day, my partner asked me what rating I'd give Immortality considering she watched me play it.

She seemed surprised when I told her that I'd give it a solid 9. I explained that it did what it set it out to do. Gameplay wise, it had modest ambition that was excellently achieved.

It was unique in its game mechanic. The films were mostly entertaining especially as they ramped up to their finales and the secret 4th story was intriguing.

Collecting all the clips was fun and my favourite part of the game

@FraserG yep absolutely brilliant idea. Even if some of the well educated predictions turn out to be inaccurate, at least it gives a bit more time than the usual two weeks to play a game we intended to anyway (just last minute as usual 😅)

Will definitely be checking out these articles in future!

I'm currently sprinting through Sniper Elite 4 as it leaves soon 😅

Do you have to do anything in particular to "upload a screenshot to Xbox Live"?

I know it says "uploaded to Xbox network" when you take a screenshot but I always just assumed this was cloud storage so you could access it elsewhere

I might be screwed if they find my Yakuza Kiwami 2 screenshots 😂

If the current UI is improved, my preference would be for the ability to pin more stuff to the home screen, more groups, more apps per group and more apps in a group to be displayed when pinned to the home screen. Just give us full control of our UI so we can make it as messy, tidy, sleek or as convoluted as we want.

I also wouldn't mind the option for custom UIs too, why not have the current, have blades, have the NXE all as options? That in addition to the above requested customisation options would give limitless potential.

Also, the article linked was quite an interesting read! It's funny how 500gb storage was a worry back then and we haven't progressed vastly in the amount of storage space (even if the speed has improved!) and the same worries are still voiced to this day

@K1LLEGAL I think it's mainly because it ties so closely into 5 but also because I really liked the Tanemura character they ditched for 5.

5s my favourite because I loved playing as Haruka 😅, the rhythm games were really fun and I couldn't stop singing So Much More for weeks after I finished it!

Hi peeps, just wanted to let you know that I ordered the Triple XL in the end and it arrived today.

It fits well I think, not sure how long it will last because it might shrink in the wash but it's comfortably loose straight out of the parcel!

@lookupmore oh cheers for the heads up, I've yet to order them so maybe I'll go for a 4XL, not sure.

I don't like ordering from new websites. I've had a look through their FAQs and it says if you do a return then you only get refunded the cost of the item and not delivery which is amazing really because that's against the law in the UK. Cancelled orders must be refunded in full including delivery according to the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Kinda puts me off ordering from there.

@swedetrap oh brilliant, thanks for the reply! I think I'll go ahead and take a punt on the XXXL then. Though I see you are in the States, I think they use regional manufacturers so I'm not sure if the sizing might be different over here in the UK.

I've ordered a Triple XL from the UK's WWE store but they literally just ship over stock from the states and the US XXXL is much much much larger than a UK Triple XL 😅. I still love my Cactus Jack t shirt but it's a bit like wearing a bed sheet!

On the other hand, manufacturers over here can vary wildly in their sizing. A nice XXXL fits loosely on me but I've had a couple that are a bit tight in the past

It will be one game a month with the first Mass Effect on the Legendary Edition as our current game

Play the game at your own pace and discuss it there!

We normally choose the games from game pass ultimate

You don't have to join in every month

You can play on any platform you like if you have the game there and/or don't have game pass: PC, Xbox, even PlayStation, Switch or Commodore 64 (if available). It will be interesting to see if the experiences are different across platforms in terms of performance or features. You could even play an original version of a game if we are playing a remake! (Some users at PushSquare played the original resident evil 2 over the remake as their monthly game a little while back)

Discussion and light tangents are also allowed (catch ups with other users, discussions on related games and past game club games).

We don't carry votes for games over from the previous month's when voting for next month's game. The reason for this is that people's schedules change or somebody might drop off the face of the earth so it would kinda suck if an absent user's old vote is counted toward a month they won't be participating in. All votes start from Zero every month. - you vote by posting the name of the game you want to play in the thread and tagging me @ralphdibny

We don't repeat games, there is a list in Post #1 of the games we have played as part of the club in the past so they won't be available to vote for again in future. Other than those games, feel free to throw suggestions out (in the thread) and I will add them to the list of possibilities.

It should go without saying that people should be respectful of other people's opinions if they choose to join in. We are all wired differently and are free to think what we want without making other people feel bad about what they think. I am sure we are all fairly passionate about video games even if the intricacies of our passions don't fully line up. I think we are a good bunch though anyway so I think everybody will be welcoming to new faces!

Let me know if you want to be added to (or removed from) the tag list for the thread. It's basically just a list of usernames that I copy and paste into the announcement posts so that everybody gets a notification when we change game. I normally only use the tag list once a month but I will occasionally use it a second or third time if there is either a tie for votes between two games or if we need to vote on something additional to the next monthly game.
