Eight Games Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass Today (October 31)

In case you'd forgotten, eight more games are leaving the Xbox Game Pass library today, October 31st, and there are some big losses in the bunch, including Second Extinction, Sniper Elite 4 and The Forgotten City.

Here are the s games confirmed to leave today on Xbox Game Pass:

As usual, Xbox Game Pass members can get a discount of (at least) 20% on these titles before they're removed.

Sniper Elite 4 was absolutely wicked. Glad I played it before it left GP

@ralphdibny It didn't interest me much since on Series S the framerate was very poor.

I finally played The Forgotten City over the weekend what an absolute belter of a game. Like a layered onion, or Russian doll, that just keeps opening up with more and more.

@EliSweetG Also just played it, loved it, but found the same problem. Ended up saving often, especially just before an expected conversation, and reloading, rather than using a guide or having yet another loop.

On the whole if I really thought about it I got the 'right' answers 90% of the time and when I wasn't you can skip through the dialogue quickly, so it wasn't too bad. The writing and set up is so clever. I can't believe I was close to putting it down after about an hour, after the initial exposition, but before the gameplay had really clicked and I just felt a little lost. Then it kept revealing more and more and more. Enjoy the finale!

@EliSweetG Yes! That's where I most needed the save! Lots of dialogue, though you can skip most of it and just jump to the last option.

@EliSweetG Which one? This super quick walkthrough got me a couple of hard achievements (including the last missable one I needed that would have required a full playthrough).

You can knock out Backbone in a few hours. Such an odd game, I highly recommend playing it just for the wtf moments

Forgotten City was an amazing game.

Surprised Sniper Elite 4 was still on game pass to be honest, I thought it would have cone off when the fifth game was released.

Second Exctinction... I remember being SSSOOO excited for that game to come out haha! And it was certainly an early access gamel I really wanted that game to get its finishing touches! It did have potential, just needed more content n a little polish.

I wish the devs of the game the best of luck, and I hope the game does get its finishing touches

Yea i went through for the 1000gs on The Forgotten City over the last week and wow it was really enjoyable. They somehow nailed the atmosphere.
