Cast your mind back to a few months ago, and you remember "To The Moon And Beyond" - a free educational game released on the Xbox Store by NASA. Well, we've got another one now! It's called Space Science Investigations.
Once again, this is an educational game in which you need to watch a few videos and complete a few puzzles. The key thing is that you also get 1000g worth of achievements here, and they're pretty much all really easy to complete.
"Welcome to the International Space Station! It’s your job to make sure the resupply H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) is successfully berthed to the International Space Station. But before you can do that you must prepare the ISS for the HTV’s arrival.
Moving in zero-g will be different than what you are used to on Earth. Spend some time flying, flipping, and spinning around the station without gravity to assist you. But be careful, you might get sick! While completing tasks and floating around the International Space Station you will learn about and experience the effects of microgravity on the human body."
If you're a big fan of Microsoft Rewards, this could definitely help with any achievements you need!

"But be careful, you might get sick!"
Lol does this mean in game or in real life. It would definitely make me sick if it was in VR 😆
I hope stuff like this becomes more common place.
There's such a huge potential for learning through games that we really don't take advantage of as much as we should.
@Richnj Absolutely agreed. My daughter adores things like this, nothing better for her than interactive learning.
I mean just imagine if all these nuggets of information primary and high schools teach in between the bigger aspects were included in say Minecraft etc.
@SplooshDmg I’ve just this week discovered it! With all the millions of users (mainly children), it really would be so beneficial for more teachers to use it. My partner says she wants to mention it at the school meeting she attends.
The potential to keep kids entertained whilst teaching is huge. Thanks for the heads up though, the more it’s on my mind the better!
That first NASA “game” was sort of a card based collection thing wasn’t it ? That was not really my cup of tea , but this , with small puzzles and video’s is more likely something that I would check out.
I would love to see some more games like these educational things for the younger generation with more common knowledge and things you could use everyday.
Last week I got another shock when watching a video where whole bunch of kids just thought that milk and eggs was something that was produced in a factory by the supermarkets … my god … I guess you cannot learn everything from TikTok.
@Sol76 the 1st NASA game was definitely a literal game
