Re: Xbox's Phil Spencer Was Dead Serious About Wanting To Acquire Nintendo In 2020

@EvenStephen7 maybe that’s why I’m not really shocked nor upset. Not to mention this is just a thought and you can think anything. It would be weird for a company in this business but to contemplate acquiring Nintendo. It’s the brass ring. Whether you act on it or not is a different story. But so is good business. At the end of the day it’s business :/

@Titntin they aren’t available yet! Where are getting that? They aren’t out yet.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about, but here:

https://www.gamerevolution.com/guides/946759-mortal-kombat-1-kombat-pack-release-dates-when-does-mk1-dlc-come-out?amp

It’s exact same thing as the other games. Again they just told who was in the pack but you can’t play them yet.

@Titntin and you missed mine the only thing that Capcom and Bandai did differently is not announced who was everyone in the pass but they both announced passes. MK isn’t launching with all the characters ready to go at launch either. Again that’s the only difference. All games have a “deluxe” version with a season pass included.

Literally is the same exact thing it’s just Nether told you who but if you don’t believe me

Here’s the Capcom list ahead of its June Launch
https://gamerant.com/street-fighter-6-dlc-characters-release-dates-rashid-ed-aki-akuma/

The only difference is they didn’t say all of them. But that was May 27th the game officially launched June 2nd.

Edit: I’m not condoning it; I’m saying it’s the same for all games the launch including early beta release was the same as well. I don’t get why you are acting like Capcom is the good guy when it’s the same.

@Titntin and you are wrong SF6 has already released 2 fighters from their DLC pass. While Tekken hasn’t announced theirs yet; I don’t think. It’s pretty SOP for fighting games to launch characters passes. Tekken 7 actually had the most season passes compared to MK11 and SF5.

Edit: when I say “announced” it’s been announced as it’s part of the deluxe version but they haven’t said what the first character will be.

Re: Phil Spencer On Tokyo Game Show 2023: 'The Future For Xbox In Japan Is Bright'

mousieone

I wouldn’t expect much here. I would expect the Atlus games already shown to pop up again.

Also it’s not the exclusives that are the issue with Japan. The Japanese market is very old school and requires a lot of boots to the ground work that MS doesn’t really do even in the States.

I’ll give you an example. They don’t have a physical booth at what’s considered the largest Tokyo Game Show in years. That’s the issue. Right there.

Not that Japan is alone, they didn’t have a demo booth for Starfield at Pax Wes either but they had their PC partners pick up the slack They cant do that with Japan. Thus their show is kind of missable.
🤷🏼‍♀️

Re: Microsoft Announces Plan To Sell Activision Cloud Gaming Rights To Ubisoft

@Titntin The issue isn't the remedy for me, but the fact the CMA didn't suggest it. And now they are back to "Phase 1" on the "new deal". Also, judging from the wording it doesn't sound like these will appease them either. I'm highly skeptical that MS still won't have to involve the CAT again. Nor that CMA won't find something else to take issue with.

Re: Quantum Error Dev: Xbox Version Needs More Time Due To 'Slower SSD'

mousieone

To be clear these are the same people two and half years ago that announced they weren’t making a Series S version. And in fact, they haven’t said anything about a Series S version. I guess no one told them it’s mandatory.

Anyway, I would not waste much air on them. If anyone has actually read through all the Twitter comments they actual said they’d have to put load screens in the Xbox version. Which the Xbox SSD is not that much slower. Then they referenced Ratchet and Clank which we know now can run on an HDD.

So no I wouldn’t give them any air at all. Plus their game was announced 3 years ago.
