@Tasuki This event is important for three reasons: it allows Xbox to nurture a working relationship with developers and publishers, connect with japanese gamers directly and raise the platform's profile in a very important market. I hope they never abandon Japan.

I don't "get on" games that come with an expiration date.

Cliffy's on point. Gears 4 and 5 are good games, but they lack that same soul the first two had. I think it might have to do with the lead character. Big Marcus Fenix fanboy here.

Almost a shadow drop. I do wonder how many of these Game Pass deals with publishers close at the last moment. Or, Xbox might be trying to keep a low profile as of late because, why not?

@Tharsman I'm actually concerned about Pentiment. It comes out in less than two weeks and we've yet to see a good fleshed-out preview of it. Are they aware we know very little about the game? Or do they expect it to do poorly?

As I stated someplace else, the best thing about the deal going through, is we won't have to hear about this acquisition process anymore. Other than a Hexen Collection, that is.

@armondo36 It does look like an Xbox 360 game running on Series X through backwards compatibility. That being said, it's tri-Ace, so I will support them. You know, if they're hurting financially, maybe uncle Phil can help them out.

They are purchasing the NTSC U/C version through Amazon. Even the Series X version charted on their 'Best Sellers' list. Also, the listing on the japanese Xbox store is still up, since it forwent the Cero rating in favor of the IARC one, instead. All they need to do now is acquire an Xbox.

I've got my eyes on Breakers and the Visco Collection. QUByte targets a very niche audience, but I am that audience!

The fact it grew 27% with NO first party releases, is very reassuring. I'm more worried about the silence surrounding Pentiment. I mean, it comes out in less than a month.
