Re: Yes, The Outer Worlds 2 Is Another Xbox-Developed Game Heading To PS5

Rafie

The reason Playstation isn't dropping games on Xbox is simple....they don't have to. Xbox (hardware wise) needs this more. I'm sure if this Kadokawa acquisition goes through, we may see some games stay multiplat. Sure Sony hasn't done that without being forced to, but maybe times will change. Stranger things have happened. Look at Xbox on PS and Nintendo. Who would've thought?!

Re: Talking Point: Will Certain PlayStation & Nintendo Games Eventually Come To Xbox?

Rafie

@K1LLEGAL I believe Marathon will hit Xbox as well. Remember Bungie wants the games to be multiplat. That's until Bungie starts underperforming, then we'll see a shift in direction.

Anyway, I get the talking point here. Reciprocation. However, Xbox seems to need the extra help in sells. It may be a business move that will be conducive for Xbox, but not for the other 2. It seems a narrative that will spread amongst the Xbox community that games should be shared from the other 2 just because Xbox decided they want to.

Re: First Two Xbox Exclusives Coming To 'Rival Consoles' Reportedly Revealed

Rafie

@Fiendish-Beaver I was neutral for the most part looking at everyone's stance on this. However, I do disagree with the comparison for Starfield, Blade, and Indiana Jones vs God Of War, Horizon, and Last of Us. There is no audience for Blade and Indiana Jones because those upcoming titles haven't released yet. Gears, Halo, or Forza would be a better comparison as those beloved Xbox titles have established audiences versus the established fans of those Sony titles. Only thing I had to say. 😁

Re: Xbox Reiterates It Will Have Stronger Relations With Square Enix Going Forward

Rafie

@NeutronOverload You alright? You seem a bit disturbed. The reality is Square doesn't have to prove anything to the Xbox community. They're doing fine without them. Unfortunately it's the Xbox community that has to show their interest (although interest is there) for most Square titles. It's why Square is comfortable with mainly Nintendo and Sony. Square sells the most on those platforms. Btw, the Series X isn't 50% more powerful than the PS5. Stronger console sure, but not anywhere near that margin.

Re: Square Enix Gives Hope To Xbox Fans With Short 'FF7 Rebirth' Exclusivity Window

Rafie

@Zochmenos The point is there are more fighters on PlayStation than on other consoles. That's not debatable. Its facts. This ain't about what console is better than the other. That's subjective. What's not subjective is the amount of fighters availablw on PS. Like I said, its quantity that was being discussed, not quality. Even quality terms it's better on PS and thats what it is. You may have not like SFV, but it became a great fighter after 2 years after it launched.

Oh and I'm with you with the Dreamcast. It's still my favorite console of all time. 😁

Re: High On Life No Longer Xbox Exclusive As 'High On Knife' DLC Nears Release

Rafie

@OrfeasDourvas That is something fans should pose to Square Enix. PS was clear on how long the timed deal was at the very beginning. Games like Stray have proven that. Deathloop and others followed the same suit. Just like I told a user on Push the other day, PS shouldn't have to answer why a certain game ain't coming to a rival console when they were clear with the timed deal to begin with. At that point, it should be on the developer/publisher to be more clear.

Re: High On Life No Longer Xbox Exclusive As 'High On Knife' DLC Nears Release

Rafie

@OrfeasDourvas Ehhhh.....there are quite a few Xbox games that they've held for years like Cuphead before going to Switch and even longer to Playstation. Sony at least puts a disclaimer on when a game is coming off exclusivity. Xbox doesn't. You'll have to just guess, wonder, or wait if the game will come. Both Sony and MS have some shady practices.
